I know for a fact that this picture was taken at Frankfurt am Main Airport, Germany. Srila Prabhupada is always in transcendental Krishna conscious ecstasy and here, while meeting His dear disciples and other followers, He manifests it externally by lifting His arms, as Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu would do Himself. He also sports a very nice, friendly and attractive Vaikuntha smile. This picture of Srila Prabhupada and all others pictures of Srila Prabhupada are NOT different from Srila Prabhupada. Pictures of Guru are NOT different from Guru. Please handle accordingly and with care! Please beware: For the spiritually awake, Srila Prabhupada’s smile and happiness are very much contagious. 🙂 🙂 🙂 All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
I shall never get tired of calling out very, very loudly, with the most powerful megaphones, again and again:
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!!!
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!!!
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!!!
Srila Prabhupada, You are asamordhva!
No human being is superior to You.
No human being is even equal to You.
Editors, don’t even try!
Srila Prabhupada you are superhuman!!!
The German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche coined the term “the superhuman” (Uber Mensch), situated on the platform beyond good and evil. At the end of his philosophical journey, he became very fond of Vedic culture and glorified it.
Srila Prabhupada with His Bhagavad-gita As It Is shows us the clearly delineated path to the superhuman status, situated beyond the three modes of material nature or the three gunas. BGAII 14.26
maam ca yo ‘vyabhicaarena
bhakti-yogena sevate
sa gunaan samatiityaitaan
brahma-bhuuyaaya kalpate
TRANSLATION
One who engages in full devotional service, unfailing in all circumstances, at once transcends the modes of material nature and thus comes to the level of Brahman.
I would also like to take this opportunity to repeat the following:
Because Guru, the Spiritual Master, and especially our Founder-Acarya of ISKCON, Institutor of the BBT, Initiator of BTG magazine in 1944 on the appearance day of His own Guru Maharaja, Srila Bhaktisiddhaanta Sarasvatii Mahararaja and Translator and Commentator of BGAII, SB and CC, Srila Pabhupada, is on the same footing as God, Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, it will behoove the editors to give Him capital letters, along with possessives and pronouns relating to Him, just as it behooves them to give capital letters to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krishna. Unfortunately so far they are not even paying full and proper respects to the Supreme Personality of Godhead in this literary undertaking! Some pronouns such as “who” relating to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krishna are still written with a small letter. As a result of such display of ignorance, we find such ridiculous and offensive BGAII 2.2 purport, passages such as “The Supreme Personality, who possesses all riches, all strength, all fame, all beauty, all knowledge and all renunciation is called Bhagavaan.” which, as Srila Prabhupada Himself often confirms, should really be “The Supreme Personality, Who possesses all riches, all strength, all fame, all beauty, all knowledge and all renunciation is called Bhagavaan.” Even an elementary grade grammar student will spot and correct such a mistake.
What is even worse is that in some cases, even the “He” pronoun relating to the Supreme Personality of Godhead is spelled with small letter such as in BGAII 3.35, purport:” whereas Parashuraama was a braahmana but later on he acted as a ksatriya.” What a disgraceful and offensive mess! In the BGAII OT 3.35, purport, Srila Prabhupada clearly wrote:”whereas Parashuraama was a braahmana but later on He acted as a ksatriya.” Why was the important detail missed? Does anyone care at all ???
The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krishna also called Allah, Jehovah, Buddha and a thousand other varied names as well, is a billion times more powerful than the most powerful person on this planet earth , the president of the United States of America, if that impresses your imagination. Would it not pay to get the literary protocol right? Would it not? Whether authorised or not, there used to be a saying in the ISKCON world that devotional service to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krishna, is like a razor’s edge. One wrong move and there is blood.
God, Sri Krishna, Allah, Jehovah or Buddha is sevya Bhagavaan and
Guru is sevaka Bhagavaan
Krishna, Allah, Jehovah or Buddha is the ONE worshipable God. Details may naturally vary.
And Guru is the worshiper God, which includes Lord Jesus Christ and Hazrat Muhammad.
That is the difference between Guru and Krishna.
At last I understand the Christian theological postulate that Lord Jesus Christ is God. He is indeed the worshiper God, just as His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedant Swami Prabhupada is the worshiper God as well. But rather than blindly accepting dogma, without the help of the scientific Krishna conscious theology, also called “Krishnian theology”, this understanding of mine would however not have been possible. No Christian priest / exponent could ever explain to me correctly this most important theological point.
“The example of Lord Krishna’s being the Supreme Personality of Godhead is appropriate in regard to understanding the Spiritual Master. The Spiritual Master is called sevaka-bhagavaan, the servitor Personality of Godhead, and Krishna is called sevya-bhagavaan, the Supreme Personality of Godhead who is to be worshiped. The Spiritual Master is the worshiper God, whereas the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krishna, is the worshipable God. This is the difference between the Spiritual Master and the Supreme Personality of Godhead.” SB 7.15.27 purport.
There is also Gurvastaka, stanza seven indeed:
saaksaad-dharitvena samasta-shaastrair
uktas tathaa bhaavyata eva sadbhih
kintu prabhor yah priya eva tasya
vande guroh shri-caranaaravindam
“The Spiritual Master is honoured as much as the Supreme Lord because he is the most confidential servitor of the Lord. This is acknowledged in all revealed scriptures and is followed by all authorities. Therefore I offer my respectful obeisances unto the lotus feet of my Spiritual Master, who is a bona fide representative of Sri Hari.”
If I were an honest and sincere editor- he is got to be alive as well, as some of the editors in question have already left us- responsible for this very poor state of transcendental affairs, I would, out of embarrassment, become totally red faced and would make sure this international farcical situation is remedied too ASAP. That is not a small job.
