In the next song “The power of love” she says something that always struck me. It’s about mental boldness. She says she is afraid but she will go ahead anyway. Sometimes we have to overcome fear in the execution of our duties. I remember in the 90ties. I was at Three ways near Tenant Creek NT and I had never left Western Australia. So driving to Townsville was a gamble and a big adventure. These are huge distances and if one brakes down one may be stranded and good amounts of Laksmi may be required to rectify the situation.

One time, on a different trip, I was actually stranded and had carburator problems. Guess what happened. Without my asking, a well meaning truckie stopped and fixed my problem very expertly . Another instance I remember is that a backpacker in a small car always used to overtake me in the morning in a great hurry for several days. Another day he overtook me in a hurry and a few km further down he was in the ditch writhing in pain with assistance. Australia does not forgive the careless either on land or in the water where currents will carry u away to your death or shark will have a bite at you.

In 2000 I almost drowned in Byron Bay. I was on book distribution and decided to take a break and a swim. I did not notice the ocean was very agitated with a strong wind and clear skies. Very quickly I found myself a good distance from the shore and struggling to keep my head above water. A current had taken me. I did intake some sea water indeed. It seemed hopeless.
