Dandavats.com’s first page top feature is called “Todays featured video.”

Generally the name of the person speaking is given on the first page.

On June 4th HH Indradyumna’s Swami’s name was given on the first page.

On June 9th HG Madavananda Prabhu’s name was given on the first page

And the list goes on.

But on June 3rd however, Her Grace Mondakini Devi Dasi spoke of the  “ANNIVERSARY DATE OF ANANTA SHANTI’S PASSING, REMEMBERING ANANTA SHANTI DAS”

But her name did NOT feature on the first page BECAUSE OF HER GENDER EVIDENTLY!!!

The author of this article knows HG Mondakini DD. He has met her in Paris in 1973. But because time has passed and for the sake of circumspection, I wanted to verify the identity of the lady on the first page of “Today’s feature video”. But I could not find a name. I had to actually start watching the video to find the name Her Grace Mondakini DD.

THAT IS IN MY HUMBLE OPINION THE SUFFICIENT AND IRREFUTABLE PROOF OF THE LURKING OF SEXISM IN THE MINDS OF THE ADMINISTRATORS OF Dandavats.com and why not say it, in the some quarters of ISKCON as well!

I guess Mother Mondakini is owed an apology in due form by dandavats.com.

So in both entities, Dandavats.com and ISKCON be prepared to be faced with sexism.
