“THE SERIOUSLY SINFUL JAYADVAITA OF DEMONIAC AND ATHEISTIC MENTALITY.” SRILA PRABHUPADA’S verdict on JAYADVAITA.

Srila Prabhupada’s personal verdict on Jayadvaita, BGAII OT, 10.15, purport, first paragraph: Therefore, the Supreme Personality of Godhead can be known by persons who are in confidence of the Supreme Personality of Godhead by discharging devotional service and the example is Arjuna and his followers. Persons of demoniac mentality or atheistic mentality cannot know Krishna, and simply mental speculation to detract the readers from the Supreme Personality of Godhead is a serious type of sinful activity. One who does not know Krishna should not try to comment on the Bhagavad-gita. Bhagavad-gita is the statement of Krishna and it is the science of Krishna. It should be understood from Krishna as Arjuna understood, not from any atheistic persons.

Of course, Jayadvaita, true to his character, has plagiarized and falsified the statement as follows BGAII V2 10.15 purport:

The Supreme Lord, Krsna, can be known by persons who are in a relationship with Him through the discharge of devotional service, like Arjuna and his followers. Persons of demonic or atheistic mentality cannot know Krsna. Mental speculation that leads one away from the Supreme Lord is a serious sin, and one who does not know Krsna should not try to comment on Bhagavad-gita. Bhagavad-gita is the statement of Krsna, and since it is the science of Krsna, it should be understood from Krsna as Arjuna understood it. It should not be received from atheistic persons.

He has falsified the statement as follows:

1) He replaced “in confidence” with “in a relationship.” That cheapens and falsifies the matter. A relationship may not necessarily be confidential. Srila Prabhupada gives the example of a bank. Only a few persons such as the manager and the accountant may know the most confidential dealings of the bank. The clerk and the customer although being in a relationship with the bank will have absolutely no clue about the most confidential dealings of the bank.

2) He paraphrases the following sentence when there is absolutely no need for it. That is an insult to Guru. In his relationship with Guru, Jayadvaita is ageist, racist and suffers from an American superiority delusion.

and simply mental speculation to detract the readers from the Supreme Personality of Godhead is a serious type of sinful activity.

3) Same as number two for :”It should be understood from Krishna as Arjuna understood, not from any atheistic person” Jayadvaita cannot control his mind and thinks his mental verbiage is superior to the Guruvani.

Therefore Srila Prabhupada verdict on Jayadvaita is:” and simply mental speculation to detract the readers from the Supreme Personality of Godhead is a serious type of sinful activity. ” Another adjective to his repertoire: the seriously sinful Jayadvaita.

WHAT IS EDUCATION ?

Jayadvaita is such a snobbish idiot, a mudhah and a mayayapahrta-jnana as well, because he misuses his education to mislead people away from Srila Prabhupada and consequently away from Krishna. He is a maha-idiot because he thinks that his poor, old, Indian educated and senile spiritual master requires his masterful help at practically every word. But, people, this is just a reflection of Jayadavaita’s own idiocy. I do not hesitate to say this openly. Further down in this article, I shall show another two or three examples of his ongoing and stupid falsification, which I have just discovered again by further examination of BGAII OT. To some extent, in any case, he is systematically falsifying Srila Prabhupada’s most essential Bhagavad-gita As It Is message to the world, and thereby misleading ISKCON and giving it a bad name. Therefore Jayadvaita and his editorial party rightly deserve all kinds of countermeasures. In the Sanskrit language, it is called “pratikaram.” This word appears in the Bhagavad-gita as It Is, 1.45 in its opposite form “apratikaram”, when Arjuna proposes to quit. “Pratikaram means counteraction, and apratikaram means without any counteraction.” 730801BG.Lon.

The second reason why I must talk in such an aggressive and insulting way is that from my personal experience of past dealings with this editorial party, I clearly draw the unequivocal conclusion that this party will NOT undestand any other language and means, unfortunately. Therefore the present adversarial situation is of their own making. It is their own choice and not mine. There is a Back to Godhead magazine article, issue July / August 1995, page 28 & 29, by HH Giriraja Swami. The title of the article is “Always remain Srila Prabhupada’s dog.” So I have always been proud to count myself a part and parcel of the pack of Srila Prabhupada’s dogs, along with HH Giriraja Swami and others, I am sure of it. This is excellent, first class company, and I thank them very much for their association. But Jayadvaita is not one of them. He is an imposter, a cheater and an arrogant fool. I am able to bark loudly and if that is not enough, I shall inflict painful bites also. We sometimes hear instances of dogs who just kill humans. On Christmas evening, 24th of December 2021, on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia one family dog killed a five year old family child. Subsequently the dog was killed by the agents of the council. Such is life.

In BGAII V2 10.11, purport there are again two instances where Jayadvaita meets his illusory Mayavadi adversaries and he tries to bash and trash them, even though Srila Prabhupada only mentions “modern philosophers.” or just “philosophers.” In BGAII V2, 10.12-13, second line of the purport, the same things happens again. Srila Prabhupada dictates “modern philosophers” and Jayadvaita translates “Mayavadis philosophers.” At this point one may ask the legitimate question:”Is the imposter and misleader Jayadvaita crazy?” It should be noted that the honest Hayagriva Prabhu strictly follows in Prabhupada’s footsteps on these occasions.

In BGAII OT 10.11 Srila Prabhupada dictates “… the ultimate goal of Vishnu can be achieved only by this chant of devotional service …”

But Jayadvaita does not like the expession “chant of devotional service” and renders ” The ultimate goal, Visnu, can be attained only by this chant and by devotional service,….” Did he forget, as it seems when he wrote this sentence, that chanting is indeed devotional service?

To draw inspiration, we should look at prabhupadavani.org. Here not a single word is changed and this is the standard Srila Prabhupada expects from His editors, all context taken into account of course. The constantly speculating imposter and cheater Jayadvaita is thousands of miles from that gold standard and thereby puts the very name of ISKCON in serious danger. Not only that, he also puts both ISKCON, the retailer, and the BBT, the producer of Bhagavad-gita As It Is NOT by Jayadvaita, in dangerously vulnerable legal situations.

In a broader perspective, we have observed how in ISKCON, after the departure of Srila Prabhupada, the emphasis has shifted away from Vedic education to a rather mundane education. Nowadays it seems that a member of ISKCON is a respectable person when he has so many initials to his mane such as M.A., Ph.D., D.A.C. etc, and / or has been to some prestigious mundane education institute. Personally, I find the initials ACBSP beat by miles all other initials, and to be a student of Srila Prabhupada is not only the most prestigious kind of education and honor itself, but also awards the greatest benefits. This is confirmed in BGAII V3 9.2: “This knowledge is the king of education, the most secret of all secrets. It is the purest knowledge, and because it gives direct perception of the self by realization, it is the perfection of religion. It is everlasting and is joyfull performed.”

“The nutshell of education is defined by Canakya Pandita, that “Who is pandita, learned?” So he does not say that one who has passed M.A., Ph.D., D.A.C. No. He doesn’t say that. He says, “Any person who has learned to see like this.” What is that? Matrvat para-daresu: “Everyone’s wife should be considered…” Para-dara. Para means others’ wife. Matrvat, mother. Therefore the Vedic system is, when we address another woman, “Mother,” no other address. “Mother, can I do this? Would you like this?” The address should be “Mother.” Practice. This is practice, the brahmacari’s practice. He goes to every householder’s wife: “Mother, give me some…” Just like this child. If he is taught from the very beginning of his life that “Address all women as mother…,” that training. And intermingling with anyone, then it is a different training. That is brahmacari. So brahmacari is taught that how he should behave in society, what is the aim of life. That is brahmacari. Matrvat para-daresu.
Para-dravyesu lostravat. And other’s property? Just like garbage. Nobody goes, but I have seen. Nowadays garbage is also tackled. I have seen in Hong Kong, one woman is finding out something valuable from the garbage. This is Kali-yuga. It is untouchable, but still, people are trying to get something from the garbage, so downtrodden, this Kali-yuga. So matrvat para-daresu para-dravyesu lostravat, atmavat sarva-bhutesu: “All other living entities think like yourself.” That means your pains and pleasure, as you feel, you should take up others’ pains and pleasure, not that you protect yourself from all danger and you cut the throat of the poor animals on the plea that it has no soul. This is not education. This is education, that whether the animal has soul or not soul, we shall consider later on. But when knife is on my throat I cry, and he also cries. Why shall I say that “It has no soul, and let me kill it”? So that means he does not know how to see other living entities like himself. Buddha philosophy is based on this, that “Whatever you feel, pain, you should not inflict to others.” This is education. Matrvat para-daresu para-dravyesu lostravat atmavat.” Srimad-Bhagavatam 6.1.23 – May 23, 1976, Honolulu

AND

“So therefore the first training is given to become austere, tolerate, how to tolerate, how to call other women as “mother.” He is learning from the beginning, a small child. He is trained up to call any woman, even of his own age, not “sister” — “mother.” This is the training. Matrvat para-daresu. This is education. Matrvat para-daresu. Canakya Pandita, the great politician, has given the definition of a learned scholar. Who is learned scholar? He has given the definition. What is this? Matrvat para-daresu: to see every woman except his wife as mother. This is education. This is education, perfection of education, when you can see all women except your wife as mother. This is education.
Matrvat para-daresu para-dravyesu lostravat: and others’ property, just like garbage in the street. Nobody is interested in the garbage. You throw. That is education. And atmavat sarva-bhutesu: and thinking all living entities as your own self. If you feel pains and pleasure by something, you could not afflict the pains to others. If your throat is cut, if your head is cut, you feel so much pain, how you can cut the head of another animal? This is education. Samah sarvesu-bhutesu. This is education, three things. This is the test of education.

matrvat para-daresu
para-dravyesu lostravat
atmavat sarva-bhutesu
yah pasyati sa panditah
[Canakya-sloka]

Where is? Where is that pandita? There is no such thing now.” Bhagavad-gita 1.26–27 – July 21, 1973, London.

It would be sad and regretable to see that ISKCON loses it special and unique function– its dharma, so to say– and joins the ranks of mundane institutions, which are already innumerable in number. ISKCON AS IT IS, as per Srila Prabhupada, owns gold, nay, ISKCON AS IT IS is made of solid gold, in every sense of the expression. It would be silly to trade it for pebbles. It has happened before, where chunks of Iskcon property were given away for a days’ wage or a pittance. But ultimately Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is in charge and whatever He decides, goes. Jay Sri Krishna!

Finally, after 50 years of search, a parampara, succinct, unequivocal, pretty complete definition of a pure devotee: BGAII OT 10.9 and BGAII Version 3, 10.9 and book distribution preaching motivational material:

Sri Bhagavan uvaca:

Pure devotees are those who thoroughly understand the Supreme Personality, become fully engaged in My service and talk about Me and preach about Me, and thus they are satisfied and enjoy spiritual bliss. “

So this is a pure-devotee-meter. Just like there are altimeters to determine altitude, there are barometers to determine atmospheric pressure and there are tyres pressure meters to inflate, deflate and check tyre pressure, similarly here we have a pure-devotee-meter supplied courtesy Sri Bhagavan, through the intermediary of His ten thousand years appointee Srila Prabhupada. Please take the test.

There are five parameters here:

  1. The degree of development of one’s knowledge of God, Krishna, through Prabhupada Shastra.
  2. Full engagement in Krishna’s service or in other words, degree of one’s engagement in Krishna’s service under proper authority.
  3. Talk about Krishna, perhaps with fellow devotees, etc, exchange of realization about Krishna, etc, i.e. sadhu sanga.
  4. Preaching to the mass of people. There are two things to be mentioned here.

Caitanya Caritamrta, Madhya Lila, Chapter 7, TEXT 101

yare dekhe, tare kahe, — kaha krsna-nama
ei-mata ‘vaisnava’ kaila saba nija-grama

SYNONYMS
yare dekhe — whomever he meets; tare — to him; kahe — he says; kaha krsna-nama — kindly chant the Hare Krsna mantra; ei-mata — in this way; vaisnava — devotees of the Supreme Personality of Godhead; kaila — made; saba — all; nija-grama — his own village.

TRANSLATION
Such an empowered person would request everyone and anyone — whomever he saw — to chant the holy name of Krsna. In this way all the villagers would also become devotees of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

PURPORT
In order to become an empowered preacher, one must be favored by Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu or His devotee, the spiritual master. One must also request everyone to chant the maha-mantra. In this way, such a person can convert others to Vaisnavism, showing them how to become pure devotees of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Here one is advised to actually take the trouble and time to run people we meet through the full Hare Krishna maha-mantra at least once, word after word. It means the devotee speaks one word “Hare” and the interlocutor repeats “Hare”. Then next word “Krishna”, next word again “Hare” etc, etc, through all sixteen words. I have just met again an intelligent lady who chanted with me like that 4 or 5 years ago in Jennifer st in front of the Brisbane ISKCON temple. I did not recognize her and when I ask her to chant again the maha-mantra she told me the story. Now she is becoming more advanced and is reading the Bhagavad-gita As It Is.

The other thing is Srila Prabhupada eternal statements about the importance of book distribution:

My dear Bhakta das,
Please accept my blessings. I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of January 28, 1972, and I am pleased to note that everything is progressing nicely in San Diego center. I especially appreciate your attitude toward increasing more and more the sales of our books, that will sanctify all other activities of preaching because preaching means selling books.

I Hope this will meet you in good health and happy mood.

My dear Sri Govinda,
Please accept my blessings.

…………. I am pleased that your distribution of literatures is also increasing. Go on giving this matter your full attention. The more books we sell, the more we ourselves advance in Krishna Consciousness.
Regarding your proposal to open one store, that is not a very good proposal. Our devotees cannot work in that way. Better they are preaching and selling books door-to-door.

I hope this will meet you in good health and cheerful mood.

LAZY, LAZY, LAZY!

Whereas this young lady is dancing wonderfully. She must have done it in a previous life.

The young lady in the above picture teaches the world how NOT TO BE LAZY on the path of self-realization or the path of God-realization. She dances in an enthusiastic and concentrated way at the sound of kirtan:

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare

Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare

In Bhagavad-gita, As It Is 10.7, in another blatant lack of truthfulness and another blatant move of literary diplomacy both editors have again banned Srila Prabhupada’s use of the word “LAZY”, obviously a very embarrassing word for some of us. Previously they have underhandedly banned engineer, logician (2.27), time serving mentality (7.16 p.), imaginative brain (7.15), transcendental performances (7.19p), “modes” in “modes of devotional service” (9.14), ” and subversive (6.10). For further details, please see https://krishnaculture.org/2021/11/27/down-with-jayadvaita-svami-and-down-with-his-bhagavad-gita-as-it-is-not/

BGAII OT & V3, 10.7, purport: These are some of the opulences of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. And when one is firmly convinced of these instructions, he accepts such instructions with great faith and without any doubt, and certainly, he becomes engaged in devotional service. All this particular knowledge is required for increasing one’s interest in the loving devotional service of the Lord. Therefore in the   ???  it is said ???. One should not be lazy in understanding fully how great Krishna is, for by knowing the greatness of Krishna, one will be able to be fixed in sincere devotional service of the Lord”

BGAII V2 10.7, purport: “These are some of the opulences of the Supreme Lord. When one is firmly convinced of them, he accepts Krsna with great faith and without any doubt, and he engages in devotional service. All this particular knowledge is required in order to increase one’s interest in the loving devotional service of the Lord. One should not neglect to understand fully how great Krsna is, for by knowing the greatness of Krsna one will be able to be fixed in sincere devotional service.”

The expression “the Supreme Personality of Godhead” has also been banned by Hayagriva and the change was rubber-stamped by Jayadvaita. We already know that Hayagriva does not like this expression, as he has replaced it without any authority whatsoever with “the Blessed Lord” on many occasions. All these dealings are apa-sampradaya.

They also failed to identify the quote wanted in the text. We shall find it later.

This article will be very short indeed, as the title speaks volumes for itself. All glories to the powerful and unrelenting Srila Prabhupada, Founder-Acarya of ISKCON! May we be blessed to have and develop the qualities required to follow in His glorious footsteps.

WHAT DISTINGUISHES HAYAGRIVA FROM JAYADVAITA, the IMPOSTER.

How much?

In short, my dear readers, what distinguishes the late Hayagriva from Jayadvaita, the imposter, is HONESTY, in Sanskrit language “arjavam.” While Hayagriva’s rendition of Bhagavad-gita As It Is may not be perfect, Hayagriva Prabhu deserves our respect for his honesty, while the imposter Jayadvaita Swami deserves our full condemnation for his deliberate deceit. Please draw your own conclusions. Jayadvaita’s thinking is stereotyped thinking. Stereotyped thinking is fake thinking. Nothing, not even Srila Prabhupada’s transcendental parampara words or vani, must overdraw the artificial limits he has set to fulfill his hidden agenda and to mislead and cheat the whole world and give ISKCON a bad name. We must indeed be careful not to become his instrument for word jugglery and thus become a shareholder in the blame. Jayadvaita is a maha-hypocrite because he dared to censur Srila Prabhupadause use of the word “subversive”, whereas he is SUBVERTER NUMBER ONE.

Bhagavad-gita 18.42 is one of its key verses. It is a key verse because it defines the Brahmin. BGAII V 3, 18.42 reads as follows: “Peacefulness, self-control, austerity, purity, tolerance, honesty, knowledge, wisdom and religiousness — these are the natural qualities by which the Brahmins work.” In this verse, the Sanskrit antecedent for honesty is “arjavam”, a very important word to be thoroughly understood and important quality to be adhered to for peaceful social interaction. And finally “arjavam” is a characteristic of the Brahmin class as per the verse itself. There are many editorial facts to establish Jayadvaita is an imposter. He definitely will not pass the test of arjavam and I have given a good account of his editorial underhandedness in my article: https://krishnaculture.org/2021/11/27/down-with-jayadvaita-svami-and-down-with-his-bhagavad-gita-as-it-is-not/.

But what has motivated me to write the present article is a new discovery in BGAII OT 9.33, purport, where Srila Prabhupada dictates: “Some of the philosophers, especially the minor philosophers, say that this world is false….” The faithful and honest Hayagriva Prabhu does not change a single word of it and renders: “Some of the philosophers, especially the minor philosophers, say that this world is false….” in the 1972 Macmillan edition. But the cunning imposter Jayadvaita sees it otherwise and renders: ” Some philosophers, especially Mayavadi philosophers, say that this world is false …..” He applied a similar fake change formula to verse BGAII 9.11, a fateful combination of numbers.

Many times while in close association with ISKCON, I had this impression that the “evil Mayavadis” are portrayed as the source of and scapegoats for all ills, wrongdoings, and faults of the world. This senseless and hypocritical Mayavadi bashing is superbly illustrated here by the imposter Jayadvaita. But this is not the real point. The real point is far worse. The real point is that the imposter Jayadvaita negates the fact that there are minor and major philosophers. According to him, the philosophers class is one. And you have guessed by now who is number ONE philosopher, right? Number one philosopher is the imposter Jayadvaita, of course. Never mind Srila Prabhupada, never mind Sankaracarya, never mind other great Acharyas who have commented on the Gita, number one Bhagavad-gita Acharya is Jayadvaita, the imposter. Imposter Jayadvaita is absolute number one Bhagavad-gita Acharya, whereas, in reality, he is simply number one imposter. In the Bhagavad-gita, Srila Prabhupada mentions the imposter Kapila. Here we have imposter Jayadvaita. And all this nonsense impostor plagiarization he accomplishes on Srila Prabhupad’s account. What a parasite! He is like the mosquito in he guise of a friendly buterfly, trying to suck the king’s blood. Slap him off! Down with him!

Because Jayadvaita is too stupid, too crooked, and too much of a coward to handle the stark realities of life, he distorts reality to suit himself only. He lives in Dreamworld, just like the French Queen Marie Antoinette. When she was asked what to feed the people too poor to afford bread, she callously replied let them get cake. Later she was executed by guillotine. He is like the frog in the well who reduces life to his well-reality but still foolishly aspire for world hegemony. The French seventeenth-century fable writer La Fontaine tells about the frog’s aspiration to become as big as the bull. The frog finally explodes in hundreds of fragments.

This is the age of information. But the imposter Jayadvaita wants to reverse this trend. He is a most reactionary and crooked individual and by suppressing most precious transcendental information, he wants to keep you all in ignorance and basically kill your chances for liberation. His under-the-table agenda is to either suppress bona fide transcendental information and / or supply fake so-called bogus transcendental information of his own making. His secret and time wasting agenda is to cloud and confuse. the C&C policy. What a rascal cheater Jayadvaita is! In the good old western US movies, these types of people quickly finish with one or several holes in the head or elsewhere, on the principle of justice. Down with the imposter Jayadvaita!!!

So either we are a victim or an accomplice of this masterful, worldwide deceit and I suppose it will be for each and every member of ISKCON, including management, to decide for him or herself on which side he or she stands. We just hope that the management will facilitate things in order to avoid mental agonies to so many honest devotees.

My apologies to Jayadvaita Swami! Bhagavad-gita speaks for itself on Satyam or truthfulness. BGAII V3 10.4-5, purport: “Satyam means things should be presented as they are for the benefit of others.Things should not be misrepresented. In the social convention, they say that we can speak truth only which is palatable to others. But that is not truth speaking. Truth speaking should be straight and forward, so that others will understand actually what the thing is. Suppose a man is a thief. Now if a person is warned that he is a thief, that is truth. But because it is unpalatable, because a man thinks that if I find out that man is a thief it is unpalatable, therefore I shall not speak, but that is not truthfulness. Truthfulness means things should be presented as they are for the benefit of others. That is the definition of truth.”

Jayadvaita has also at least on one occasion broken the Guru-tattva rule, that in one’s physical presence, a disciple cannot accept his own disciples. What other rules has he broken??? His Holiness Kadambakanana Maharaja is certainly a great kirtan leader and is the individual in question. He was once the oject of an assasination attempt in Vrndavan, India. He is a pretty straight forward talker Dutch national. This law of Guru Tattva is confirmed in a Prabhupada letter to His disciple Tusta Krishna and this letter is otherwise full of Guru Tattva:

New Delhi
2 December, 1975
75-12-02

My Dear Tusta Krishna Swami,
Please accept my blessings. I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated 21 November, 1975. Every student is expected to become Acarya. Acarya means one who knows the scriptural injunctions and follows them practically in life, and teaches them to his disciples. I have given you sannyasa with the great hope that in my absence you will preach the cult thruout the world and thus become recognized by Krishna as the most sincere servant of the Lord. So I’m very pleased that you have not deviated from the principles I have taught, and thus with power of attorney go on preaching Krishna consciousness, that will make me very happy as it is confirmed in the Guru vastakam yasya prasadat bhagavata prasadah just by satisfying your Spiritual Master who is accepted as the bona fide representative of the Lord you satisfy Krishna immediately without any doubt.
I am very glad to inform you that Sudama Vipra Maharaja is also now following my principles. So I am very very happy to receive all this news. Thank you very very much.
Keep trained up very rigidly and then you are bona fide Guru, and you can accept disciples on the same principle. But as a matter of etiquette it is the custom that during the lifetime of your Spiritual master you bring the prospective disciples to him, and in his absence or disappearance you can accept disciples without any limitation. This is the law of disciplic succession. I want to see my disciples become bona fide Spiritual Master and spread Krishna consciousness very widely, that will make me and Krishna very happy.
I hope this letter finds you well,
Your ever well wisher,
A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami
ACBS/hda

In other words Jayadvaita has broken “the law of disciple succession.”

To counter Jayadvaita’s reactionary mentality and actions, I would like to finish this article with Srila Prabhupada’s progressive transcendental words from the Preface of His Srimad-Bhagavatam:

“We must know the present need of human society. And what is that need? Human society is no longer bounded by geographical limits to particular countries or communities. Human society is broader than in the Middle Ages, and the world tendency is toward one state or one human society. The ideals of spiritual communism, according to Srimad-Bhagavatam, are based more or less on the oneness of the entire human society, nay, of the entire energy of living beings. The need is felt by great thinkers to make this a successful ideology. Srimad-Bhagavatam will fill this need in human society. It begins, therefore, with an aphorism of Vedanta philosophy, janmady asya yatah, [SB 1.1.1] to establish the ideal of a common cause.
Human society, at the present moment, is not in the darkness of oblivion. It has made rapid progress in the fields of material comforts, education and economic development throughout the entire world. But there is a pinprick somewhere in the social body at large, and therefore there are large-scale quarrels, even over less important issues. There is need of a clue as to how humanity can become one in peace, friendship and prosperity with a common cause. Srimad-Bhagavatam will fill this need, for it is a cultural presentation for the respiritualization of the entire human society.

Srimad-Bhagavatam should be introduced also in the schools and colleges, for it is recommended by the great student-devotee Prahlada Maharaja in order to change the demoniac face of society.

kaumara acaret prajno
dharman bhagavatan iha
durlabham manusam janma
tad apy adhruvam arthadam
(SB 7.6.1)

Disparity in human society is due to lack of principles in a godless civilization. There is God, or the almighty one, from whom everything emanates, by whom everything is maintained and in whom everything is merged to rest. Material science has tried to find the ultimate source of creation very insufficiently, but it is a fact that there is one ultimate source of everything that be. This ultimate source is explained rationally and authoritatively in the beautiful Bhagavatam, or Srimad-Bhagavatam.
Srimad-Bhagavatam is the transcendental science not only for knowing the ultimate source of everything but also for knowing our relation with Him and our duty toward perfection of the human society on the basis of this perfect knowledge. It is powerful reading matter in the Sanskrit language, and it is now rendered into English elaborately so that simply by a careful reading one will know God perfectly well, so much so that the reader will be sufficiently educated to defend himself from the onslaught of atheists. Over and above this, the reader will be able to convert others to accepting God as a concrete principle.”

Consideration of the day.

Here is a nice, midsized, house of God, Krishna, in Ashgrove, Brisbane, Australia, all made of user-friendly bricks.

Whether we accept or reject, whether we like or dislike and even if we are philosophical and neutral, all things come to pass one way or another with inexorable certainty, as if situated on a conveyor belt which advances at a steady speed to its destined goal, at which point we will be asked in no uncertain terms, to please step off the belt and in ordinary, unsuccessful cases of body transmigration, mount a new belt for a similar trip. Bhagavad-gita As It Is, V3, 2.13 says: “As the embodied soul changes his body every moment from boyhood to youth and then to old age, similarly when there is a final change of body from one to another, the sober person does not become deluded by such a change.”

Are we ready for that?

“But Duryodhana does not know that the death does not depend on military strength or bodily strength. When death will come, nobody can check. Death is God. When Kṛṣṇa desires that “This man should be killed now,” or “He must die now,” nobody can check. Rākhe kṛṣṇa mare ke mare kṛṣṇa rākhe ke. If Kṛṣṇa desires to kill somebody, nobody can give him protection—no power. And if He wants to save somebody, nobody can kill him. This is Kṛṣṇa’s protection.” 73.07.09 BG.Lon

The Greek philosopher Heraclitus summed it up in his famous formula “Panta Rei” or “everything flows”, or as I have learned it in French secondary school in Soultz and Guebwiller, Grand Est, France: all things come to pass. I take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank all my teachers of the time for their fruitful efforts. Some stand out in my memory as Mr. Muller, the PE, and extremely efficient German teacher, Ms. Oswald, the French teacher from Madagascar ( She was actually an enthusiastic caucasian French lady, who spend some considerable time teaching in Madagascar, off the coast of East Africa ), I forget the name of my first English teacher, who had a typical English accent, but I do remember the name of the very first English class i.e. “Malta convoy one hit by a torpedo.” His accent was outstanding, with a special contortion of the lips. Not at all American! And then of course the illustrious philosophy professor Mr. Kippelen of terminal class. In France, at least at the time, terminal class was the year before the high school certificate, I suppose grade one in Anglo-Saxon countries. There was also Mr. Gabble, my first secondary Mathematic teacher, who gave me my very first number one spot in “sixieme” in the three monthly mathematic test and competititon. There was a three monthly test for every subject matter. He once made fun of student Dupras, who jumped the rail by asking me: Do you know what that is called? Of course, I answered: It is called “garde-fou,” which means a thing to keep crazy people in check. One morning his clothing was not in proper order and I shall not get into further details out of respect for the man, who was simultaneously the school director at the time. He also used to splutter. But he taught us Mathematics alright for at least one year. My dear secondary teachers, please accept the expression of my gratitude, wherever you may be at present. My primary teacher’s name was Rudloff, a disturbed fellow. I don’t remember his first name. But it was not Adolf. He was extremely violent to his own two sons, Louis and Michel, in class in front of everyone else. Being the father, he felt he could take such violent freedom and they regularly burst into tears. These were such pathetic episodes. Louis was my friend and, unlike others, I have lost complete track of him. I realized now that it was all good grade education. Whereas nowadays we see students finishing secondary school. who do not even know basic skills such as spelling. This is an alarming sign of the times. Are we really making progress here or not?

In any case, please don’t worry about the past and please chant the Hare Krishna maha-mantra now and in the future as in

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna

Krishna Krishna Hare Hare

Hare Rama Hare Rama

Rama Rama Hare Hare

and automatically all purposes will be served collectively.

There is a parallel trail of thought in Bhagavad-gita As It Is, version three, (BGAII V3), chapter 2, verse 46. Minutes before the decisive battle, Lord Krishna or Partha-sarathi, is speaking the Bhagavad-gita to His friend and chariot master, Arjuna. God or Lord Krishna has millions of names, including Allah, Jehovah, and Buddha and because out of friendliness to Arjuna, He accepted what in material, military terms is the inferior position of chariot driver, His name in the Sanskrit language is Partha-sarathi. In modern warfare terms, we may say that a tank driver is generally subordinate to the tank commander. Ultimately God has no name, but God is named according to His multifarious activities:

“All purposes served by a small well can at once be served by great reservoirs of water. Similarly, all the purposes of the Vedas can be served to the student who knows the purpose behind them.”

The great and unmatchable advantage with the Hare Krishna process, especially if you are time conscious, is that you never, ever need to lose even a single second of your lifetime, because you can always chant the Hare Krishna maha-mantra in all circumstances, except at the dentist. Often we have to wait in a queue, at the bank, at the post office, at the taxi ramp, at the checkout, etc, and we can easily control our mind from being overtaken by frustration or anger simply by fixing it on the Hare Krishna mantra-mantra. Sometimes we have to wait for dictator-computer to be ready to do what we want him to do. Dictator-computer is not some kind of a deity, as some people want us to think, it is a stupid machine only, without any ultimate discriminating power because there is no spirit in it. It is simply dull matter. If you want or need to account for your mantras, beads or japa-mala and bead-bag are best. We supply japa-mala and bead bags for a small fee. Please contact us. Otherwise, any mechanical or electronic tally counter is OK. But these implements much too often are unreliable and give a false reading. One must watch that too. For example, while driving a vehicle, it is extremely dangerous and probably illegal to drive a vehicle and have one’s right hand, or left hand if you are left-hander, in the bead bag. If it’s not yet illegal, it means our Hare Krishna propaganda is weak. Some devotees have died under such circumstances. The point is that when one is driving a vehicle, there remains some unused mental energy that can be used for chanting Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare / Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare and a tally counter can be used. In Ballina, NSW, I was once stopped by police because the officer saw my lips moving from a distance and he concluded that I was making illegal use of my mobile phone. I have written an article about it as well.

The overall advantage is that you are performing the most beneficial, the most important and the most redemptive activity of this human form of life, chanting the specially Kali-yuga designed maha-mantra as in Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare / Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. It other words the Hare Krishna practitioner is always a winner. This is confirmed in the Bhagavad-gita As It Is, version 3, 18.78, when Sanjaya, the secretary of King Dhritarashtra and to the king’s disappointment, declares: “Wherever there is Krishna, the master of all mystics and Supreme Personality of Godhead, and wherever there is Arjuna, the supreme archer, there will also certainly be opulence, victory, extraordinary power, and morality. That is my opinion.” Besides that BGAII 2.40 says: “In this endeavor there is no loss or diminution, and a little advancement in this path can protect one from a very dangerous type of fear.”

A PRAYER AND A PROMISE TO SRILA PRABHUPADA.

Dear Srila Prabhupada, when I study Your Original Transcript (OT) of Bhagavad-gita As It Is, I am discovering and appreciating Your different, multi-faceted personality more and more and I rejoice in your association more and more, even after 50 years of Guru-disciple association.

Here is the instance of BGAII OT 9.18, purport. You have spoken into your dictaphone: “Therefore without Krishna’s shelter, there is no existential platform.” This is the terminology and language a true philosopher, belonging to the best philosophical tradition, will use. You are not just a sentimental theologian. Every occupation has got its own specific, in-house language and this is what Arjuna alludes to in BGAII V3, 2.54 when he asks Krishna:” Arjuna inquired: O Keshava, what are the symptoms of one whose consciousness is thus fixed in transcendence? How does he speak, and what is his language? How does he remain still, and how does he walk?.” But Your unreliable and untrustworthy editors transformed it into kitchen language as follows:”….therefore without Krishna’s shelter nothing can exist.” Coming from You, I just know that only a true philosopher of the greatest classical tradition would write such a sentence. These things have been covered up by your so-called trusted editors. So now from the 5th day of November 2021 at 20 hours, GMT + 10 hours, I have irrefutable proof that You belong to that greatest and most illustrious philosophical tradition: chronologically, the most illustrious philosophical tradition of Plato, Socrates, Aristotle, Lord Jesus Christ, Sankaracarya, Ramanujacarya, Madhvacarya, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, Srila Jiva Goswami (“the greatest philosopher of his time”), Arthur Schopenhauer, Karl Marx, Friedrich Nietzsche, Jean-Paul Sartre to name a few only.  Motivated by some vested interests in the bodily concept of life, or simply by ignorance, using the methodology of combined force and deceit, your mischievous editors have covered up your full and true identity, and many of us, your followers, have good, legitimate reasons to feel cheated by them and those who supported them for the last fifty years and still support them today and feel absolutely angry at all of them indeed. Combined together, they have cheated the world for the last fifty years and are still cheating the world today. There are here only two classes of people: innocent victims and guilty accomplices. There is no third alternative. For everyone’s interests, including the cheaters’ interests, this must be stopped ASAP.

What an immense satisfaction to have a master of such caliber as Yourself and when we shall restore and correct these unholy deviations in the official presentation of Your Bhagavad-gita As It Is, its success will increase exponentially and will achieve completion. There is no doubt about it, these innumerable rectifications will come to pass and I promise this to you, Srila Prabhupada. This is a solemn promise. The complete metamorphosis may take a little time, but it will happen because that is the virtuous way. It is already happening now. The initial start has already begun. Like all boats, we shall depend on wind conditions. On the battlefield of Kuruksetra, such seemingly great and respectable personalities like Bhisma, Dronacarya, and Karna had to be defeated and die in battle, because of their one failure in the domain of virtue: they did not rescue the chaste and devoted wife of the Pandavas, Draupadi, in her time of need in the assembly of non-gentlemen. In your 730416SB.LA, you call this “asat-sabahya” the unholy assembly: “asat-sabhayah, in the assembly of asat… Asat means those who are not gentle, not gentlemen. In the sabha, in the assembly, there was Dhrtarastra, there was Bhismadeva, Dronacarya, all elderly persons,” Srimad-Bhagavatam 1.8.24 – April 16, 1973, Los Angeles.

In Your Bhagavad-gita As It Is, official version, 16.7, word for word section, the corruption of Jayadvaita goes as far as to subtly and indirectly equate virtuous action with criminal action and vice versa and lead everyone else in that direction, down the wrong path. That single action in Your and Krishna’s Bhagavad-gita As It Is surely makes Jayadvaita a criminal himself! Jayadvaita is a morally bankrupt individual. No doubt his presentation of Bhagavad-gita As It Is is apa-sampradaya! No doubt he is an agent of Kali-yuga! To use a typical Srila Prabhupada expression: If I were to place squarely my heavy-duty work boot in his crazy face for Krishna, it will be the most virtuous action.

In Your greatness and kindness, You have been so very tolerant with some of your disciples’ literary and philosophical clumsiness and perhaps also their mischievousness. But this will now progressively come to an end and Your true glories will be revealed to the entire world to their fullest extent. Your Governing Body Commission is supposed to have the final say in all these matters. As everyone understands, my own mind is made up.

The 2021 Prabupada Book Distribution Marathon has just begun!!! Japa walk Book distribution in the park.

For light duty book distribution, I generally carry Reservoir of Pleasure, the 72 Macmillan Bhagavad-gita As It Is, soft bound and of course The Higher Taste. Just as there are the yummy Govinda Hare Krishna restaurants, similarly, on Book Distribution Sankirtan there is always a need to carry a Hare Krishna cookbook . A Hare Krishna cookbook, can indeed open many doors, which would otherwise remain shut. Srila Prabhupada, in His letter dated 15 June 1969, which remains as fresh as ever, to His female disciple Krishna Devi Dasi remarked:

krishna krishna krishna krishna krishna krishna krishna he
krishna krishna krishna krishna krishna krishna krishna he
krishna krishna krishna krishna krishna krishna raksha mam
krishna krishna krishna krishna krishna krishna pahi mam
rama raghava rama raghava rama raghava raksha mam
krishna keshava krishna keshava krishna keshava pahi mam

Actually, the practice of meat-eating is very detrimental to spiritual life, because in spiritual life the goal is to become free from all sinful reactions, and meat-eating means simply to force oneself to suffer the sinful reactions of killing our fellow living entities. So as many people will be taking to practicing spiritual life through the influence of our Sankirtana Movement, SUCH COOKBOOK WILL BE VERY IMPORTANT and you should work for this as you are able.”

My first attempts were unsuccessful. People declined to even accept benefit by touching the literature, what to speak of accepting a copy to take home! But we do not depend on the result of our endeavors. Finally after passing a final negative young couple having a snack on a bench, I came to a young guy sitting on another bench with table. He was bent over the table and absorbed in looking at the screen of his phone. I offered the magazine and he was not defensive as were previous customers and finally accepted it. In the talk that ensued he amazingly admitted that he was reading the Bible on his phone. I encouraged him with: “Congratulations, this is unique, I don’t think many people are studying the Bible in the park right now!” The amazing thing here is Krishna’s arrangement. This person was looking at God’s word on his phone and consequently searching for Him and here God Himself, Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, comes in the form of a nice painting on the cover of the nice Reservoir of Pleasure and sets Himself before this seeker of truth as described in BGAII 7.16 “O best among the Bharatas, four kinds of pious men begin their devotional service unto Me, the distressed, those in need of money, the inquisitive or those searching after the knowledge of the Absolute.” Krishna is so wonderful and we shall both remember this instance as part of our God or Krishna consciousness! Later things got easier and people got friendlier and more receptive. A met another guy with whom I had a good preaching conversation. Another lady mentioned that she visits the West End Hare Krishna restaurant every Thursday, without fail. I didn’t get a chance to ask why only on Thursdays and not every day. Another, daggy looking guy was amazed to deal with Hare Krishna. He said:” O Hare Krishna, they were here about 40 years ago….I thought they are dead and gone….there are to many religions in the world ….Then I asked him what was his own religion. He replied without inhibitions whatsoever: “My religion is alcohol and smoking” We are lucky that alcohol-and-smoking is not a world religion, even though it may be more widely spread than we think. Some other people spontaneously react positively and with good speed, just like the lady and her husband who were strolling their two months old son. This has got to do with Prabhupada’s saying that the spark of fire may fall in three places, the earth, water and dry grass, and also the modes of material nature. These people are good prospects for Krishna consciousness and deserve our attention. In this way Book Distribution, besides being a highly efficient means of purification for all parties involved and especially the distributor, is also a good testing meter for Krishna consciousness, just like a Geiger detector indicates the proximity of gold. Book distribution, just like Gurukula, is also a character forming activity. Let us all get involved in Book Distribution! And then the night fell and my book distribution activities came to end for the 4th day of december 2021.

Srila Prabhupada Srimad-Bhagavatam class, 1.16.8, Los Angeles, 5 January 1974

“There is no comparison. There is no literature throughout the universe like Srimad-Bhagavatam. There is no comparison. There is no competition. Every word is for the good of the human society, every word, each and every word. Therefore we stress so much in the book distribution. Somehow or other, if the book goes in one’s hand, he will be benefited. At least he will see, “Oh, I have taken so much price. Let me see what is there.” If he reads one shloka, his life will be successful, if one shloka, one word. This is such nice things. Therefore we are stressing so much,

“PLEASE DISTRIBUTE BOOKS, DISTRIBUTE BOOKS, DISTRIBUTE BOOKS!

All glories to Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s world wide Sankirtan Movement, all glories to Srila Prabhupada, all glories to the dedicated ISKCON book distributors!

Our contention is that the English language BHAGAVAD-GITA AS IT IS (BGAII) version, officially endorsed by The International Society for Krishna Consciousness, (ISKCON), and published by the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust (BBT) is a mere travesty, a false imitation, and a pale reflection, (may be 33%) of the authors’, Lord Krishna and His empowered representative Srila Prabhupada, original intentions due to the editors’ (Jayadvaita and the late Hayagriva) nefarious interventions. In one single word, it is to be considered apa-sampradaya, which means “outside of the sampradaya.” And what to speak of all other various languages, international editions, derived from the English version! It is a dangerous situation, because it is a fraudulent market product. Please put your counter-arguments. Your objections are invited.

Strictly speaking, this is a dishonest version of Srila Prabhupada’s Bhagavad-gita As It Is. Its purpose is to cloud and confuse. It is the abracadabra version. It is the waste of time version. The previous version, also called the 1972 Macmillan version, may not be perfect but it is a more honest version and is the best we have at the moment. We hope that version three will be available soon. It can be seen here as it is created: https://krishnaculture.org/bhagavad-gita-as-it-is-version-3/

The four screenshots below of BGAII OT 5.29, BGAII OT 9.11 ( X2 ), and BGAIIOT 11.1 give us first of all an idea of the sorry general state of the Original Transcript (OT). 20/20 for the respect shown to Srila Prabhupada, the world teacher, by those who handle and are in charge of the Original Transcript !!! These are some of these great American minds!

It is available here to everyone: https://bookchanges.com/bhagavad-gita-as-it-is-manuscript/. It is not an easy document to handle! In their outright disrespectful and over-self-confident attitude, the editors did not feel any compunction whatsoever to scribble all over it. We also note that the editors do not even have a basic understanding of the transcendental philosophy of Krishna consciousness. In particular, they do not seem to understand that the transcendental Lord Krishna is not at all different from His Holy Name, or in other words that the transcendental Lord Krishna is one with His Holy Name, otherwise, why would they have dared to cross out the word KRISHNA with such alacrity and on so many occasions, as we can clearly see on the screenshots? In the Siksastaka by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu Himself, the channa Supreme Personality of Godhead, stanza two, it is clearly confirmed that the Lord has invested all His transcendental energies into His transcendental names as follows:

namnam akari bahudha nija-sarva-saktis
tatrarpita niyamitah smarane na kalah
etadrsi tava krpa bhagavan mamapi
durdaivam idrsam ihajani nanuragah

“O My Lord, Your holy name alone can render all benedictions to living beings, and thus You have hundreds and millions of names, like Krsna and Govinda. In these transcendental names You have invested all Your transcendental energies, and there are no hard and fast rules for chanting these holy names. O My Lord, You have so kindly made it easy to approach You by Your holy names, but I am so unfortunate that I have no attraction for them.”

And if you wonder where the office fish comes in, that’s a small joke to counter a very big, sorry, and sad joke.

This is how editors and others treat the Original Transcript. BGAIIOT 11.1.What can be done with such a document??? The situation seems hopeless. 20 / 20 for respect shown to Srila Prabhupada, the teacher of the world.(sacarstic mode)

“Especially Caitanya Mahāprabhu ordered the Indians to do it.”(preaching His glories) 76.04.26 BG.MEL & 760620BG.TOR

Devotee: Is it possible for a fallen soul to preach the glories of Kṛṣṇa and Lord Caitanya and the spiritual master to people outside?

760426BG.MEL

Prabhupāda: Outside? What do you mean outside?

Devotee: In society. Outside of the movement, outside of the temple.

Devotee (2): He means living out independently, and also…

Prabhupāda: Oh, yes. Why not? Why not? It is simply an example how to become Kṛṣṇa conscious. You can start a similar place in your home, in your village, in your town. You can do that. It is simply an example how to conduct Kṛṣṇa consciousness business. It is not that the business is limited. It is not limited. Therefore we have written so many books. It is a great science. You can do it anywhere—that is the mission of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. He says, pṛthivīte āche yata nagarādi grāma [Caitanya-bhāgavata, Antya 4.126] = “All over the world, as many towns and villages are there, this Kṛṣṇa conciousness movement must be spread.” So one must know the science and spread it. That is wanted. People are suffering for want of knowledge. They should be enlightened by this Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement. That is the business of human life. Especially Caitanya Mahāprabhu ordered the Indians to do it. He said,bhārata-bhūmite haila manuṣya-janma yāra
janma sārthaka kari’ kara para-upakāra
[Cc. Ādi 9.41]His mission is that anyone who has taken birth in India, he first of all make his life successful and spread this knowledge for welfare activities of the whole human society. This is required. 760426BG.MEL

760620BG.TOR

“So you are coming, I mean to say, the Indians who are present here, from a country where Kṛṣṇa appeared. It is a great fortune for you that you have taken your birth in India. It is not ordinary fortune. So why? To take Indian birth, to take birth in India, automatically they are advanced in spiritual knowledge. Still, so much fallen condition of India, still, you go to a village, they will very easily understand Kṛṣṇa consciousness, without any advanced education, because by birthright they have got the knowledge…..

…..So my request is that you are here in foreign country, you don’t forget your heritage. That is my request. Don’t be bara-sāhīb. Remain as Indian with Indian culture, and here is the temple of Kṛṣṇa; we are distributing this Kṛṣṇa culture all over the world. So don’t miss this opportunity, but you take advantage of it. That is the duty of every Indian. That is the mission of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. His mission is, especially to the Indians He says,bhārata-bhūmite haila manuṣya-janma yāra
janma sārthaka kari’ kara para-upakāra
[Cc. Ādi 9.41]Para-upakāra, just to do something good for others, for upakāra. So Caitanya Mahāprabhu says anyone who has taken birth in India, he should, bhārata-bhūmite manuṣya-janma haila yāra, anyone who has taken birth in India, for every one of them, it is the duty. Janma sārthaka kari’: first of all make your life successful, janma sārthaka kari’ kara para-upakāra,then you begin the welfare activities for all others. The idea is that India is enriched with Vedic knowledge, and those who are born in India, they should take advantage of this facility, especially those who are in the higher, topmost ranks, the brāhmaṇas, the kṣatriyas, the vaiśyas. Especially the brāhmaṇas. Take this education perfectly well, make your life perfect, and distribute the knowledge all over the world. This is your duty. That is the order of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. He wanted…Kṛṣṇa preached this Bhagavad-gītā, five thousand years ago, but it was not broadly preached. It was spoken on the battlefield of Kurukṣetra. Arjuna knew it and some of his other friends. But Caitanya Mahāprabhu is also Kṛṣṇa. He appeared as a devotee of Kṛṣṇa. And He distributed this Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement, and He wanted that every Indian should seriously take this Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement, make his life perfect, and distribute the knowledge. This is India’s duty. So you have got one opportunity, you Indian people, that you take this advantage of distributing Kṛṣṇa consciousness. It is good for you and for everyone who takes this knowledge very adherently.” 760620BG.TOR
