Current presentation of The ILLUSORY, TRAVESTY, and FAKE BHAGAVAD GITA AS IT IS NOT by homosexual Hayagriva! (Homosexual with an “H” for “I HHHHate women”)

Even though Srila Prabhupada used this Bhagavad Gita Himself and seemed to give it His stamp of approval, still strictly speaking this work cannot be called Srila Prabhupada’s Bhagavad Gita As It Is when we compare it to the Original Transcript (OT) found here: https://bookchanges.com/bhagavad-gita-as-it-is-manuscript/

Anyone with little education, will quickly come to the very same conclusion. Too many bogus alterations and additions, and too many whimsical cuts have been effected. Srila Prabhupada was very liberal with his Bhagavad Gita and never double checked the editors. He ordered some changes such as blatant matters from “cattle-raising” to “cow protection” in BGAII 18.44

The result is that we are being mislead and being cheated. We are not getting Srila Prabhupada. We are getting Hayagriva aka Professor Howard Wheeler of Ohio State University, USA.

One of his most idiosyncratic behaviour is to systematically replace the expression “The Supreme Personality of Godhead” with his own concoction as “The Blessed Lord” or similar contorted expressions, especially in all the verses. But both editors do it in purport of BGAII 8.1, not only once but twice. Srila Prabhupada’s intention is to establish Krishna’s identity as “The Supreme Personality of Godhead” in the world’s psyche. But Hayagriva is out to sabotage Srila Prabhupada’s purpose. Him and his presentation need to be rejected.

He also replaced Srila Prabhupada’s original “brahmin”, with “brahmana”. “Brahmin” is just fine and used routinely. And Srila Prabhupada Himself uses it always in (OT). There is consequently no license to replace it with any other word.

Professor Wheeler also takes the liberty to impose the following sentence unto Srila Prabhupada’ Bhagavad Gita As It Is 2.40: “Or, as the Christians say, “What profiteth a man if he gain the whole world yet suffers the loss of his eternal soul?” This sentence does NOT AT ALL originate from Srila Prabhupada. It is Hayagriva’s view only and is therefore unwanted and rejected.

These are just three obvious examples to illustrate my point and there are hundreds and perhaps even thousands of other such examples. It is a bit like the soft drop of water, repeated over and over again, that brakes the hard stone or death by a thousand cuts.

THIS IS VIOLENCE. The managers of the Australian division of the Bhaktivedant Book Trust or BBT are so rascal that they will weaponise the supply of Srila Prabupada’s books and books in general.

On this picture we see along with Srila Prabhupada Himself, one of His right hand man, His Holiness Gopal Krishna Maharaja (departed), still dressed in white as a grihastha or householder, we see on the extreme right His Grace Dhananjaya Prabhu, in the middle we see two other familiar figures, the right one being His Grace Upendra Prabhu, who departed on New Govardhana farm, NSW, Australia, more than 25 years ago and on the extreme right we see the daughter of His Grace Omkara Prabhu, a fellow Frenchman, who, in the 1970ties, used to be head-pujari at Krishna Balaram Temple, Vrndavan, India, .

THIS IS VIOLENCE. The managers of the Australian division of the BBT are so rascal that they will weaponise the supply of Srila Prabupada’s books and other books in general. I cannot speak about other divisions of the BBT, as I generally dont deal with them. They are actually not qualified to hold such important positions.

Let us get specific here. As far as I can see, there are three individuals involved here and I shall not grant any titles whatsoever because they engage in such low class activities and tactics, against Srila Prabhupada’s wishes and against what should be written in the BBT’s code of conduct. But we do not know whether such a document actually exists. Just names only:

Devamrta, the Australian BBT Trustee,

Naresvara

and the Sydney warehouse manager Dandakaranya.

Naresvara has blocked me from reaching him by emai for some time now. He seems to be quite an unusual individual. I have also heard that Naresvara was alledgedly once scolded, admonished and reprimanded by Srila Prabhupada Himself, the way Srila Prabhupada never admonished someone else before. So there must be something seriously wrong with this individual.

To weaponise the supply of Srila Prabhupada books represents VIOLENCE according to the following statement from The Challenge Bhagavad Gita As It Is 13. 8-12, purport:

“Non violence is generally taken to mean not killing or destroying the body; but actually non-violence means not to put others in distress. People in general are trapped by ignorance in the material concept of life, and they perpetually suffer material pains. So without elevating people to spiritual knowledge, one is practicing violence. One should try his best to distribute real knowledge to the people, so that they may become enlightened and leave this material entanglement. That is nonviolence”

VIOLENCE breeds VIOLENCE and will be meet with VIOLENCE, be it mental VIOLENCE, verbal and written VIOLENCE or physical VIOLENCE.

Yes, there are three platforms of VIOLENCE: mental violence, verbal and written, and finally physical violence. And each needs to met on its own level. That is fair play and legitimate defence.

So, Mr. Dandakaranya, please don’t complain about receiving violent communications. It will only make you look like an ignorant hypocrite because YOU are the original source of violence. Your radical decision to cut off book supplies makes YOU the aggressor according to Srila Prabhupada’s above CBGAII 13.8-12 statement.

Personally, I have been distributing the books of my beloved spiritual master, Srila Prabhupada for the last 52 years and still do so, commencing in the streets of Paris in 1973, when Harivilasa and Bhagavan Prabhus were in charge and now BBT Australia cut off all book supply. Things changed markedly with the arrival of the current BBT administration headed by Devamrita Swami.

What foolish, greedy rascaldom that is! There are just no other words to express this state of affairs. And we may ask what kind of rogue institution is BBT Australia. In any other sector be it private of governmental, I would at the least get a commendation for my years of service. But BBT Australia treats me like less than a dog after 52 years of faithful and unremunerated service. The previous administration used to gracefully supply me with complimentary copy of Prabhupada’s yearly Vyasapuja book. But the new administration immediately canceled that arrangement as well.

I cannot conceive of a better way to turn lifelong friends into lifelong enemies due to some kind of infatuation and illusion. How smart is that now???

The same reasoning will apply to Srila Prabhupada’s two editors, Hayagriva and Jayadvaita, who unrelentingly take the liberty to whimsically modify Srila Prabhupadas Bhagavad Gita As It Is message, when there is actually no bona fide reason to do so and thus question and attack Srila Prabhupada’s moral integrity and literary qualifications. No need to say such behaviour is violently offensive to Srila Prabhupada, our Founder-Acarya. And Srila Prabhupada needs to be defended in even stronger terms and more vigorously in His physical absence. And this will be done with all resources available.

Who do these two editors think they are anyway? Some sort of Super-acharyas transcending Srila Prabhupada authority?

And why does the BBT trust and support them???

There is no such thing as a Super-acharya transcending Srila Prabhupada authority! There is no one even equal to Srila Prabhupada, what to speak of superior to Srila Prabhupada.

Therefore we must conclude that they are both unfaithful and Prabhupada-betraying fools and rascals conditioned by the modes of material nature. And their so-called corrective actions are extremely petty, useless, unwanted, damaging and MISLEADING most of the time and always extremely offensive to Srila Prabhupada. And on this occasion again, the editors are the aggressors and Prabhupada-offenders by contorting, twisting, censuring, impoverishing, poisoning, falsifying etc etc …. Srila Prabhupada’s transcendental Bhagavad Gita As It Is message to the world. And aggressors will always be met as aggressors, especially aggressors to Srila Prabhupada.

The Challenge Bhagavad Gita As It Is 10.17, among other anomalies and falsities, uncovers how both editors Hayagriva’s and Jayadvaita’s pride does not allow them to strictly follow in the footsteps of Srila Prabhupada and thus deliberately falsify the text and mislead and cheat the whole world. This is rather serious matter and needs to be addressed rather sooner than later. And this modus operandi is repeated again and again throughout both versions. Again, the original BGAII Prabhupada-text is to found here: https://bookchanges.com/bhagavad-gita-as-it-is-manuscript/

According to Srila Prabhupada Himself, The Challenge Bhagavad Gita As It Is 10.17 gives:

Text 10.17

O Krishna, O Supreme Personality of Godhead, please let me know how I shall think of You and how I shall know you and how You shall be remembered.

Purport 10.17

As it is stated in the previous chapter, the Supreme Personality of Godhead is covered by yoga-maya. Nobody can see Him except the devotees and surrendered souls. Now Arjuna is convinced of his friend Krishna, but he wants to know the general process by which the all-pervading Krishna can be understood by the common man. Except for the devotee, no common man, including demons and atheistic persons can know Krishna because He is guarded by the yoga-maya energy of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. For their own benefit, Arjuna asks these questions so that these persons will be able to understand. The high-grade devotee is not only concerned about his own understanding, he is also concerned about the understanding of all persons in the world. Because Arjuna is a Vaishnava, a devotee, by his own mercy he is opening the understanding for the common man, how the common man can understand the all-pervasiveness of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Arjuna specifically addresses Him as yogin, because Sri Krishna is the master of the yoga-maya energy by which He is covered and uncovered to the common man. The common man, who has no love for Krishna, cannot think of Krishna always, therefore he has to think materially. (and where Krishna exists therefore is Krishna) Arjuna is considering the modes of thinking of the materialistic persons of the world. The words “keshu keshu ca bhaveshu” refer to material nature. Bhaveshu or bhava means the material things. Because spiritually we cannot understand Krishna, therefore we should concentrate our mind on the physical things, how Krishna is manifested in those physical presentations.

Speculative Hayagriva offers his own version of the very same thing as:

Hayagriva TRANSLATION 10.17

How should I meditate on You? In what various forms are You to be contemplated, O Blessed Lord?

Hayagriva PURPORT 10.17

As it is stated in the previous chapter, the Supreme Personality of Godhead is covered by His yoga-maya. Only surrendered souls and devotees can see Him. Now Arjuna is convinced that His friend, Krsna, is the Supreme Godhead, but he wants to know the general process by which the all-pervading Lord can be understood by the common man. No common man, including the demons and atheists, can know Krsna because He is guarded by His yoga-maya energy. Again, these questions are asked by Arjuna for their benefit. The superior devotee is not only concerned for his own understanding, but for the understanding of all mankind. Out of his mercy, because he is a Vaisnava, a devotee, Arjuna is opening the understanding for the common man as far as the all-pervasiveness of the Supreme is concerned. He addresses Krsna specifically as yogin because Sri Krsna is the master of the yoga-maya energy by which He is covered and uncovered to the common man. The common man who has no love for Krsna cannot always think of Krsna; therefore he has to think materially. Arjuna is considering the mode of thinking of the materialistic persons of this world. Because materialists cannot understand Krsna spiritually, they are advised to concentrate the mind on physical things and try to see how Krsna is manifested by physical representations.

and smart ass Jayadvaita offers the following:

Jayavaita TRANSLATION 10.17

O Krsna, O supreme mystic, how shall I constantly think of You, and how shall I know You? In what various forms are You to be remembered, O Supreme Personality of Godhead?

Jayadvaita PURPORT 10.17

As it is stated in the previous chapter, the Supreme Personality of Godhead is covered by His yoga-maya. Only surrendered souls and devotees can see Him. Now Arjuna is convinced that His friend, Krsna, is the Supreme Godhead, but he wants to know the general process by which the all-pervading Lord can be understood by the common man. Common men, including the demons and atheists, cannot know Krsna, because He is guarded by His yoga-maya energy. Again, these questions are asked by Arjuna for their benefit. The superior devotee is concerned not only for his own understanding but for the understanding of all mankind. So Arjuna, out of his mercy, because he is a Vaisnava, a devotee, is opening for the common man the understanding of the all-pervasiveness of the Supreme Lord. He addresses Krsna specifically as yogin because Sri Krsna is the master of the yoga-maya energy, by which He is covered and uncovered to the common man. The common man who has no love for Krsna cannot always think of Krsna; therefore he has to think materially. Arjuna is considering the mode of thinking of the materialistic persons of this world. The words kesu kesu ca bhavesu refer to material nature (the word bhava means “physical things”). Because materialists cannot understand Krsna spiritually, they are advised to concentrate the mind on physical things and try to see how Krsna is manifested by physical representations.

ANALYTICAL COMMENTS:

THE VERSE.

There are three elements in Srila Prabhupada’s verse:

One. How to think of Krishna

Two. How to Know Krishna

And three. How to remember Krishna.

In his presentation, Hayagriva drops two of them: how to know Krishna and how to remember Him. And as usual he abhors the expression “the Supreme Personality of Godhead” and again dares to replace it with his own concoction “the Blessed Lord”, whatever that means and whatever the origin of this expression is.

His formulation of how to meditate and how to contemplate are simply a repetition in itself and rendition of Srila Prabhupada’s “how to think”. So in his clumsiness he simply ignores “how to know and how to remember Krishna”

To his credit, Jayadvaita restores all three elements. Rightly or wrongly, he also adds the expression “O supreme mystic.”

In both cases the courteous form of expression and address containing the adverb “please” is abandoned.

THE PURPORT

It is extremely offensive to Srila Prabhupada and damaging to ISKCON, His movement, to present Him to the world As He Is NOT, especially in a bad light, as a sexist individual for example. And this both editors are doing very often.

The first sentence is common to all three rendition. No problems there.

And what is wrong with Srila Prabhupada second sentence? Why has it be changed? : “Nobody can see him except the devotees and surrendered souls?” We noticed how these two editors have a visceral dislike and aversion for Srila Prabhupada’s use of the word “nobody” and systematically replaced it with “no one” or just drop “nobody” as is the case in this passage. To use “nobody” does not mean that the author is in the bodily concept of life, whereas a systematic aversion for the word could mean the presence of a bodily concept of life.

Bhagavad Gita As It is 10.15. One element of sexism detected where “persons” becomes “men” and many, many, many other things left to the intelligent readers to judge.

The Challenge Bhagavad Gita As It Is 10.15:

Text

O origin of everything that is, O Lord of everything, O Lord of the demigods, O Lord of the universe, O best of all personalities, You know Yourself by your internal potency and nobody can understand you.

Purport.

Therefore the Supreme Personality of Godhead can be known by persons who are in confidence with the Supreme Personality by discharging devotional service and the example is Arjuna and his followers. Persons of demoniac or atheistic mentality cannot know Krishna, and simply mental speculation to detract the readers from the Supreme Personality of Godhead is a serious type of sinful activity. One who does not know Krishna should not try to comment on the Bhagavad Gita. Bhagavad Gita is the statement of Krishna and is it the science of Krishna. It should be understood from Krishna as Arjuna understood it. It should not be received from atheistic persons. As stated in the Srimad Bhagavatam 1.2.11, the Supreme Truth is realized in three aspects: as impersonal Brahman, localized Paramatma and at last as the Supreme Personality of Godhead. So this last step in understanding the Absolute Truth is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. A common man and even a liberated man has to realize impersonal Brahman or localized Paramatmam. Such persons may endeavor to understand the Supreme Personality from the verses of the Bhagavad Gita, which is being spoken by this person, the best personality, Krishna. Sometimes the impersonalist accepts Krishna as Bhagavan and they accept His authority. Even the liberated person cannot understand Krishna. Krishna is Purushottam. Still one may not understand that he is the father of all living entities. Therefore He is addressed as Bhuta-bhavana. And if it becomes known that He is the father of all living entities and still one may not know that He is the Supreme Controller, therefore He is addressed as Bhutesha, the Supreme Controller of everybody. And even if it becomes known that Krishna is the Supreme Controller of all living entities, still one may not know that He is the only one cause of all demigods. Therefore He is addressed here as Devadeva, the worshipful God of all demigods. And even one may know that He is the worshipful God of all demigods, one may not know that He is the Supreme Proprietor of everything. Therefore He is addressed herein as Jagatpate. Therefore the truth about Krishna is established in this verse by the realization of Arjuna and we should follow the footprints of Arjuna to understand Krishna as He is.

Hayagriva’s Illusory Bhagavad Gita As It Is NOT 10.15:

VERSE

Indeed, You alone know Yourself by Your own potencies, O origin of all, Lord of all beings, God of gods, O Supreme Person, Lord of the universe!

PURPORT

The Supreme Lord Krsna can be known by persons who are in a relationship with Him through the discharge of devotional service, like Arjuna and his successors. Persons of demonic or atheistic mentality cannot know Krsna. Mental speculation that leads one away from the Supreme Lord is a serious sin, and one who does not know Krsna should not try to comment on Bhagavad-gita. Bhagavad-gita is the statement of Krsna, and since it is the science of Krsna, it should be understood from Krsna as Arjuna understood it. It should not be received from atheistic persons.
The Supreme Truth is realized in three aspects: as impersonal Brahman, localized Paramatma and at last as the Supreme Personality of Godhead. So at the last stage of understanding the Absolute Truth, one comes to the Supreme Personality of Godhead. A liberated man and even a common man may realize impersonal Brahman or localized Paramatma, yet they may not understand God’s personality from the verses of Bhagavad-gita, which are being spoken by this person, Krsna. Sometimes the impersonalists accept Krsna as Bhagavan, or they accept His authority. Yet many liberated persons cannot understand Krsna as Purusottama, the Supreme Person, the father of all living entities. Therefore Arjuna addresses Him as Purusottama. And if one comes to know Him as the father of all the living entities, still one may not know Him as the supreme controller; therefore He is addressed here as Bhutesa, the supreme controller of everyone. And even if one knows Krsna as the supreme controller of all living entities, still one may not know that He is the origin of all the demigods; therefore He is addressed herein as Devadeva, the worshipful God of all demigods. And even if one knows Him as the worshipful God of all demigods, one may not know that He is the supreme proprietor of everything; therefore He is addressed as Jagatpati. Thus the truth about Krsna is established in this verse by the realization of Arjuna, and we should follow in the footsteps of Arjuna to understand Krsna as He is.

tattvam yaj jnanam advayam
brahmeti paramatmeti

The Supreme Truth is realized in three aspects: as impersonal Brahman, localized Paramatma and at last as the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Besides being a cheater and a misleader, Jayadvaita is shameless and disrespectful.

Besides being a cheater and a misleader, Jayadvaita is shameless and disrespectful . He eats something, masticates it for a while, add his dirty saliva and then spits it out. AND HE EXPECTS US TO ACCEPT THAT as Prabhupada maha-prasadam! What supreme arrogance and deceit! And what an IMPOSTER!

THAT’S WHAT HE DOES WITH SRILA PRABHUPADA’S GREAT BHAGAVAD GITA AS IT IS

Thus putting up a deceitful and non-transparent Jayadvaita wall between the world and Srila Prabhupada.

He constantly rearranges Srila Prabhupada’s own text for no reason and when there is no necessity for it at all. So we are NOT GETTING SRILA PRABHUPADA. WE ARE GETTING JAYADVAITA. THAT MEANS HE IS AN IMPOSTER AND A TRAITOR TO SRILA PRABHUPADA AS WELL. WE WANT SRILA PRABHUPADA! WE REJECT JAYADVAITA!

Usurper, usurper Acharya, imposter, imposter Acharya, a sly subverter, cheater, traitor to Srila Prabhupada, a maha offender at the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada, morally corrupt are appropriate words under the circumstances. And arrogant like anything.

WE FEEL HIS TOTAL DISDAIN for the rest of the world and we see it on his face too.

“Hey folks, I am the superior intellectual here, even though I am just a 3rd class Vaishya with no philosophical clout, you just take it or leave it. Who cares anyway.” That is his true message.

We only feel disgust for him.

KICK HIM IN THE FACE to put him in his proper place and prevent him from mingling in the Acharya’s business.

The kicking is Srila Prabhupada’s original idea, not mine. So it is bona fide. Srila Prabhupada also advises to use boots for the deed.

The Challenge Bhagavad Gita As It Is 2.21:

Verse

O Partha, how can a person who knows that the soul is indestructible, eternal, unborn, and immutable kill anyone or cause anyone to kill?

Purport.

Everything has its proper utility, and a man who is situated in complete knowledge knows how and where to apply a thing for its proper utility. Similarly violence has also its utility and it depends on the person in knowledge how to apply violence. Just like the justice of peace awards capital punishment to a person condemned for murder, but the justice of peace cannot be blamed, because he orders violence to another person according to the codes of justice. In Manu-Samhita, the law book for mankind, it is supported that a murderer should be condemned to death, so that in the next life he does not require to suffer for the great sin he has committed. Therefore the king’s punishment to hang a murderer is actually beneficial to him. Similarly, when Krishna orders fighting it must be concluded that such violence is for supreme justice, and as such Arjuna should follow the instruction, knowing it well that such violence committed in the act of fighting for justice is not at all violence. Because at any rate the man or the soul is not going to be killed, but for the administration of justice, so-called violence is permitted. A surgical operation is not meant to kill the patient, but it is meant for his cure. Therefore the instigation for fighting to be executed by Arjuna, in terms of the instruction of Krishna is with full knowledge, and there is no possibility of sinful reaction in such activities of Krishna and Arjuna.

The allotted reward is AU$ 1000.00. Evidence will be required.

AND GET HIM AND HIS ILLUSORY AND DISTORTED BHAGAVAD GITA AS IT IS NOT out of the way for good, once and for all.

This also represents an appeal to the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust or BBT.

Srila Prabhupada’s superb rendition of BGAII 10.12-13 in The Challenge Bhagavad As It Is.

On this picture, probably in Vrndavan, besides Srila Prabhupada, we see Pusta Krishna Swami, who was Prabhupada secretary at the time, on the right we see Tripurari Swami, a big book distrtributor in the USA, so big was he that Srila Prabhupada hesitated to award him sannyasa as He was concerned that his book distribution would suffer. Behind Srila Prabhupada there is Pancadravida Swami to whom Prabhupada told once something like “Lucky you are a swami because no woman would ever accept you.” And behind Pusta Krishna we discern Aksoyananda Swami from New Zealand. He was Vrndavan temple president for a while and I became his temple commander in JAN 1977. But that arrangement did not last as I rapidly contracted jaundice. It was a wild time. Usually some one would just come up to you, look into your eyes and give a jaundice diagnosis because jaundice makes eyes yellow.

TRANSLATION

Text 10.12-13 Arjuna said: My dear Krishna, I understand that You are the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the Ultimate, the Purest and the Absolute Truth. You are a person from time immemorial, transcendental, original, without birth, beautiful and the greatest. All the great sages like Narada, Asita, Devala, Vyasa, everyone, confirms this truth and You Yourself also explained it to me.

Purport.

In these two verses of the tenth chapter undoubtedly the Supreme Lord gives a chance to the modern philosophers, expressing that the Supreme is different from the individual soul. So Arjuna, after hearing the four essential verses of the Bhagavad Gita in this chapter, became completely free from all doubts about Krishna being the Supreme Personality of Godhead and he at once boldly declared that: “You are Parambrahma, the Supreme Personality of Godhead.” The previous statements of Krishna that He is the originator of everything and everyone, every demigod, every human being establishes that all are dependent on Him. In the Gitopanishad it is confirmed as follows: men or demigods out of ignorance think that they are absolute, without any dependence on the Supreme Personality of Godhead. That ignorance is removed perfectly by discharge of devotional service. This is already explained in the previous verse by the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Now by His grace, Arjuna is accepting Krishna as the Supreme Truth in concordance with the Vedic injunction. It is not because Krishna is the intimate friend of Arjuna that he is flattering Him by calling Him the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the Absolute Truth. But whatever he says in these two verses is a confirmation of the Vedic truth. The Vedic injunction affirms that only one who takes shelter of devotional service for understanding the Supreme Lord, he only can understand, whereas others cannot. Each and every word of this verse spoken by Arjuna is corroborated by the Vedic injunction.

And it will be very good to discuss some of the mantras from the Kena Upanishad in this connection. The Kena Upanishad states as follows: The Supreme Brahman is the rest of everything. The Lord has already explained that everything is resting on Him. The Kena Upanishad confirms that the Supreme Personality of Godhead in Whom everything is resting can be realized only by such persons who are engaged in constantly thinking of Him. This constant thinking of the Supreme Personality of Godhead is smaranam, one of the different methods of devotional service. Only such persons who are engaged in devotional service to the Supreme Personality of Godhead can understand and get rid of this material body. In the Vedas, the Supreme Lord is accepted as the Supreme, the purest of the pure. One who can understand this Supreme Personality of Godhead as the purest of the pure, he alone becomes purified from all sinful activities. Nobody can be disinfected from sinful activities without being a surrendered soul to the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Therefore Arjuna’s acceptance of Krishna as the Supreme Pure is according to the version of the Vedic literature. This is also confirmed by great personalities of whom Narada is the chief.

Therefore Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and one should always meditate upon Him and then he enjoys the transcendental relationship and this devotional service is recommended in the Vedic literature. He is the only Supreme Existence. He is free from bodily needs, birth and death. So Arjuna confirms this Vedic injunction. Not only Arjuna confirms this, but all Vedic literature, the Puranas and histories and everything, everywhere Krishna is described as follows. And the Supreme Lord also says in the fourth chapter: “ Although I am unborn, I appear on the earth for establishing the religious principles.” Anyone who understand Him as the Supreme Origin, without any cause, as the cause of all causes, and that everything emanates from Him has perfect knowledge. This perfect knowledge can be obtained by the grace of the Supreme Lord, as Arjuna expresses himself through the grace of Krishna.

If we therefore want to understand Bhagavad Gita, we should follow the statements in these two verses. This is called the parampara system or acceptance of the disciplic succession. And without being in the disciplic succession nobody can understand the Bhagavad Gita simply by so-called academic education. Unfortunately the atheistic persons, in spite of so many evidences of Vedic literature and confirmation by great personalities, being proud of their academic education, will stick to their only obstinate conviction that Krishna is an ordinary person.

ISKCON’S legendary and sometimes obsessive “PURE DEVOTEE” concept and definition given by Srila Prabhupada Himself. BGAII OT 10.9

On this picture we see HG Srutakirti Prabhu massaging Srila Prabhupada. This picture could be in Germany as per heating elements. Sruta Kirti Prabhu wrote “What is the difficulty?” Intimate moments in the personal service of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. A fabulous account of his time spend in the personal service of His Divine Grace! Highly recommended reading!

In The Challenge Bhagavad Gita As It Is, 10.9, which intends to be THE MOST FAITHFUL RENDITION OF SRILA PRABHUPADA BHAGAVAD GITA AS IT IS and opposes both the Illusory Bhagavad Gita As It Is NOT by Hayagriva and opposes just as well the Illusory Bhagavad Gita As It Is NOT by Jayadvaita, as being both bogus, unauthorised, speculative and non-parampara, Srila Prabhupada writes as follows:

“”Pure devotees are those who thoroughly understand the Supreme Personality, become fully engaged in His service, and talk about Him, and preach about Him and thus are satisfied and enjoy spiritual bliss.” The Challenge Bhagavad Gita As It Is, 10.9.

So from this verse we see that there are 6 qualifying elements to a PRABHUPADA pure devotee as follows:

ONE. His thorough knowledge of Krishna. So extremely learned in Shastra.

TWO. Engages permanently 24/24 and 365/365 in Krishna’s loving service.

THREE. They talk amongst themselves about Krishna.

FOUR. He / She is a preacher, or a gosthy-anandis, as opposed to a bhajananandi.

FIVE. A satisfied individual, sane and well balanced.

SIX. Enjoys spiritual bliss. He / she is on the transcendental platform of sat, cit and ananda, well beyond the three modes of material nature.

As stated above The Challenge Bhagavad Gita As It Is intends to be THE MOST FAITHFUL RENDITION OF SRILA PRABHUPADA BHAGAVAD GITA AS IT IS and opposes both the Illusory Bhagavad Gita As It Is NOT by Hayagriva and opposes just as well the Illusory Bhagavad Gita As It Is NOT by Jayadvaita as being both bogus, unauthorised, speculative and non-parampara. Fasten your seat belts and prepare for possible turbulences ahead.

Three kangaroos, the emblems of Australia, absorbed in the sound vibration HARE KRISHNA HARE KRISHNA HARE KRISHNA KRISHNA KRISHNA HARE HARE / HARE RAMA HARE RAMA RAMA RAMA HARE HARE. They stopped short of dancing and clapping on New Navadviipa Dham :):):)

Please remember Srila Prabhupada at Stinson beach in 1967, when He asked one of His female disciples to please chant Hare Krishna to a slug on the wall. Srila Prabhupada Lilamrita, Vol 3, by His Holiness Satsvarupa Das Goswami.

“Govinda dasi: Swamiji would sit on a little couch with a table before him, and Gaurasundara and Kirtanananda and I would sit on the floor, and we would all eat together, like a family. We would talk, and one time the subject was rice. Kirtanananda said, “White rice is for human beings, and brown rice is for animals.” So I said, “I must be an animal, then, because I really like brown rice better.” And Swamiji just laughed and laughed and laughed. He thought it was so funny. I guess it did sound pretty simple. But he laughed and laughed.
Prabhupada was sitting in the back yard when Govinda dasi saw a large slug climbing on a wall. She showed it to Prabhupada. “Chant to the poor thing,” he said, and she began to chant Hare Krsna.”

Ref. VedaBase => SPL 25: “Our Master Has Not Finished His Work”

The point being the sound vibration

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna

Krishna Krishna Hare Hare

Hare Rama Hare Rama

Rama Rama Hare Hare

benefits everyone, irrespective of bodies.

This Prabhupada jewel deserves a post of its own. “A Krishna conscious person should not be bewildered by fools deviating from the strict Krishna policy. He should be careful of all these foolish conversations, commentaries and interpretations of Bhagavad Gita and propound his business of Krishna consciousness with determination and firmness.” The Challenge Bhagavad Gita As It Is, 10.8, purport, last sentence.

Further more in the next verse BGAII 10.9, Srila Prabhupada gives a clear definition of a “pure devotee.”

“Pure devotees are those who thoroughly understand the Supreme Personality, become fully engaged in His service, and talk about Him, and preach about Him and thus are satisfied and enjoy spiritual bliss.” The Challenge Bhagavad Gita As It Is 10.9

So from this verse we see that there are 6 qualifying elements to a pure devotee as follows:

ONE. His thorough knowledge of Krishna

TWO. permanently 24/24 and 365/365 engages in Krishna service

THREE. They talk amongst themselves about Krishna.
