THOUGHT(S) OF THE DAY. (1)
Thought of the day:
KRISHNA CONSCIOUSNESS JUST MEANS ONE CUP OF NECTAR AFTER ANOTHER.
There is consequently always a DANGER OF SUFFOCATION and perhaps even a danger of DROWNING in the transcendental ocean of the nectar of devotion :):):)
__________________________
Krishna Kripa Prabhu likes my praise of Srila Prabhupada here: https://krishnamonk.blogspot.com/2024/08/quotes-from-srila-prabhupada-tributes.html in the 2024 Prabhupada Tribute:
“Dear Srila Prabhupada,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to your global, robust, expert and enduring preaching. “
Thank you for your appreciation, Krishna Kripa Prabhu!
_______________________________
Here is an interesting passage in Srila Prabhupada’s Original BGAII Transcript 3.1. This is the second times it happens. Srila Prabhupada writes:
“O Janardan, O Keshava, why do you like to engage me in this ghastly warfare, if you think that intelligence (in Krishna consciousness) is better than fruitive work?”
OT is available here: https://bookchanges.com/bhagavad-gita-as-it-is-manuscript/
I am specifically referring to the leisurely “why do you like to engage me”. Neither Hayagriva nor Jayadvaita liked this expression. Hayagriva writes “why do you urge me to engage…”, which sounds good and Jayadvaita writes ” why do you want to engage me…”, which is very common.
Srila Prabhupada writes similarly in BG 2.3 OT Purport or in BG 2.3 Version 3, Purport, which are meant to be identical: “but Krishna liked to counter that such sort of magnanimity was only a weakness of his heart.”
We have to consider who is speaking.
On the one hand we have Krishna who is KING. He is the KING of the Kingdom of Godhead, and He is also 16108 times the King of Dvaraka, with His 16108 palaces for his 16108 queens. Just see His mystic power! BG 9.5 “pashya me yogam aishvaram”
And Arjuna is also a thoughtful prince in the line of King Bharata.
“The two different names of address given to Arjuna are also significant. To address him as Kaunteya signifies his great blood relations from his mother’s side; and to address him as Bharata signifies his greatness from his father’s side. From both sides he is supposed to have a great heritage. Great heritage brings responsibility in the matter of proper discharge of duties and as such he cannot avoid fighting.” BGAII 2.14 P.
So we may find a very polite, respectful, refined, polished and aristocratic mood and language between our two heroes of Bhagavad Gita As It Is. And that may be the reason why Srila Prabupada’s uses “why do you like”.
Mac book dictionary says the word “aristocrat” comes from Greek “aristos” which means “the best”.
In 2.15, Krishna definitely addresses Arjuna as follows: “O best among men (Arjuna), the person who is not disturbed by such happiness and distress and is steady in both is certainly eligible for liberation.” So Arjuna is an aristocrat by definition. So is Krishna because not only is Krishna the best among all personalities of Godhead, but more broadly Krishna is the BEST OF ALL LIVING ENTITIES. Krishna is the leader of all living entities. And who in his sane mind wouldn’t be enthusiastic to accept such a leader! Accept a leader we must. Everyone has one or many leaders in his life. So why not accept the very best of leaders of all: Sri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead and surrender to Him, as He suggests in the Baghavad Gita:
sarva-dharman parityajya
mam ekam sharanam vraja
aham tvam sarva-papebhyo
mokshayishyami ma shucah
Word for word rendition.
sarva-dharman — all varieties of religion; parityajya — abandoning; mam — unto Me; ekam — only; sharanam — for surrender; vraja — go; aham — I; tvam — you; sarva — all; papebhyah — from sinful reactions; mokshayishyami — will deliver; ma — do not; shucah — worry.
TRANSLATION
Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear.
>> Ref. VedaBase => Bg 18.66
“The Supreme Personality Who possesses all riches, all strength, all reputation, all beauty, all knowledge and all renunciation is called Bhagavan. There are many persons who may be very rich, very powerful, very beautiful, very famous, very learned and very much detached, but none of them can claim that he is the possessor of all riches, all strength etc. entirely. Such claim is applicable to Krishna only and as such He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. No living entity, including Brahma can possess such opulence, neither can Lord Shiva. Nor even Narayana can possess such fullness of opulence as Krishna. And by analytical study of such assets, it is concluded in the Brahma Samhita by Lord Brahma himself that Lord Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Nobody is equal to or above Him. He is the Primeval Lord or Bhagavan, known as Govinda and is the Supreme Cause of all Causes.” BG 2.2, P, Version 3.
“A pure devotee who has firm faith in the words of the Supreme Personality of Godhead is to be considered a most learned scholar, the topmost aristocrat and the richest man in the whole world. All godly qualities automatically exist in such a devotee. In the preaching work of the Krsna consciousness movement, we, as the servant of the servant of the servant of the servant of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, fully believe in the words of Krsna and His servants, the disciplic succession [Cc. Madhya 13.80]. In this way we are presenting the words of Krsna throughout the world. Even though we are neither a rich man nor a very learned scholar, and even though we do not belong to any aristocracy, this movement is still being welcomed and is very easily spreading all over the world. Although we are very poor and have no professional source of income, Krsna supplies money whenever we need it. Whenever we need some men, Krsna supplies them. Thus it is stated in the Bhagavad Gita (6.22): yam labdhva caparam labham manyate nadhikam tatah. Actually, if we can attain the favor of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krsna, we do not need anything else. We certainly do not need those things which a mundane person considers to be material assets.”
>>> Ref. VedaBase => Madhya 5.76
My suggestion would therefore be that we keep Srila Prabhupada’s expression “why do you like”.
OM TAT SAT
PS. In Macbook dictionary we also find:
kingdom | ˈkɪŋdəm | noun1 a country, state, or territory ruled by a king or queen: the Kingdom of the Netherlands. • a realm associated with or regarded as being under the control of a particular person or thing: the kingdom of dreams. 2 the spiritual reign or authority of God. • the rule of God or Christ in a future age. • heaven as the abode of God and of the faithful after death.
That means they have absolutely no idea where God or Krishna lives. They think He lives in heaven, Lord Indra’s place. They need a good deal of education in this matter. That’s why Srila Prabhupada came and wrote all His books. That’s exactly His purpose-to educate them in God or Krishna consciousness. We have to find out where each and everyone of us fits into this grand education plan of Srila Prabhupada.

If we add a little turmeric to our rice, the rice becomes a shiny yellow, another opportunity to remember Krishna. Lord Krishna loves to wear yellow garments or pita-vasa.
The Personality of Godhead, appearing on the shoulder of Garuda, seemed like a cloud resting on the summit of the mountain known as Meru. The transcendental body of the Personality of Godhead was covered by attractive yellow garments, and His neck was decorated with the jewel known as Kaustubha-mani. The bodily effulgence of the Lord dissipated all the darkness of the universe.

” Il faut cultiver son jardin.” or “Please mind your garden!” JJ Rousseau, a 18th. century French philosopher, born in Geneva, Switzerland.

Although not the ultimate advice, this is quite a sound and helpful advice for the body, mind, intellect and why not for the soul as well. Because in our gardens there are millions of living entities in different varieties of bodies, mostly animals and plant bodies. They struggle for existence and make rational choices, just as we humans do. And they tolerate the four cardinal problems of material existence — birth, old age, disease and death. Take for example the above trees at the Sherwood arboretum in Brisbane, the 2032 Olympic City, Australia . How can a tree, extend a very thick and heavy branch almost horizontally and maintain it in that position for years together? It almost defies the law of gravity. These are massive, sub- tropical trees, weighting tons and tons. Perhaps fig trees: Ficus carica, family Moraceae. (MacBook dictionary).
Something unusual happened in my own garden. I cut all the grass and then in just a few days, one single plant grew very quickly to about one meter height and was leaning forward just like a snake about to attack and bite as if saying:”Why dont you just leave us alone and let us grow as we like?”
In His writings, Srila Prabhupada likes to use the word “fig” in the sense of “a worthless trifle” as in BGAII OT and new version 3, 2.35. Here again the sometimes evil minded editors put up a veil between Srila Prabhupada and the world. This deception, grave injustice and insult / affront to Srila Prabhupada is now coming to an end.
BG 2.35, new version 3: “The great generals who had very high estimation for your name and fame will consider that you have left the battlefield out of fear only, and thus they will not care a fig for you.”
I vaguely remember a true story where one of Srila Prabhupada’s Godbrothers decided to accept the renounced order of life simply by observing some insects. Please feel free to contribute if you know the reference and further details on this incident.
The ultimate advice would rather be: ” Please take advantage of Srila Prabhupada’s books and message in general (vani) to become fully self-realised and perfect your human form of life”.
Srila Prabhupada is the affectionate and more intimate name for His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the Founder-Acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, the founder of the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust, His publishing house, as well as the founder of the Back to Godhead Magazine in the 40ties (1940), which is still going in the hands of His disciples in USA, although its CEO “His Holiness” (sacarstic mood) Sriman Nagaraja Prabhu posts an article here http://www.dandavats.com/?p=14324, which he cares to entitle “We’ re all in Maya”. This is really a plain stupid title and proclamation for that which is supposed to be a Krishna conscious article from someone who is supposed to be a responsible officer for the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) . Let him talk for himself. This is the proclamation of a servant of Maya Devi, and not the proclamation of a Krishna bhakta. In the past, I had some distasteful dealings with this individual and he automatically assumes that the person in his front is an enemy. Without hesitation and due diligence he at once assumes that you are his enemy. This is the sign of a demoniac mentality. Some ISKCON preachers are always ready to shower their audiences with a copious amount of learned words and other hackneyed formulas, when actually they are not realising at all that their foundation stands on quick sands. That is true delusion. I am using this strong word “delusion” because the editors of Srila Prabhupada’s great rendition of Bhagavad Gita have literally poisoned it by their nefarious activities. To give one example only among hundreds and perhaps thousands. In BG 2.63. they have illegally replaced Srila Prabhupada’s word “illusion” with the word “delusion”. Illusion is a common matter but delusion enters the pathological. In a subtle way they a trying to connive that the reader is CRAZY. This is manipulation, mental control and brain washing of the most underhand kind. There is an opportunity here to make a very strong legal case against ISKCON, the BBT and Jayadvaita Swami, the surviving editor.
Please chant:
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.
and see the world as it is.

JAYADVAITA YOU ARE DISMISSED AS AN EDITOR. SRILA PRABHUPADA KINDLY GAVE YOU A CHANCE BUT YOU RUINED IT, JUST AS MANY OTHERS DID UNFORTUNATELY.
In BG 2.61 P there a typical example of Jayadvaita’s only flaming imagination where he makes a “blazing fire” out of “small flames ” as given by both by Srila Prabhuapada and Hayagriva Prabhu. This is typical of his cheating tendency and also his somewhat sinister tendency to create fear in the mind of the reader by exaggerating out of proportion. What rascaldom! He has definitely lost his position as editor. He is definitely dismissed from his editor’s position.
This is a technic for manipulating people and probably borders with brain washing.
He probably belongs to the same class of people who originally created and now perpetrate the lie that Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross. Let us beware of these type of individuals.

Imposter Hayagriva and Imposter Jayadvaita.
On two further occasions both editors want again to be superior to Guru, like jumping monkeys. What foolishness! This is also an attempt to mislead and brainwash the readers of Bhagavad-gita.
How long and how far are we willing to tolerate such non-sense???
BG 2.39 P. Srila Prabhupada never wrote “imposter Kapila”, he uses the much less aggressive “imitation Kapila”.
But we may call them imposters: Imposter Hayagriva and imposter Jayadvaita.
And in BG 2.40 P, Srila Prabhupada never wrote the following sentence . “Or as the Christians says, What profiteth a man if he gains the whole world, yet suffer the loss of his eternal soul.”
This is a cheating import of imposter Hayagriva and imposter Jayadvaita.!
What a farce!
Srila Prabhupada would never writes such a sentence. This is a sentence of a western, Judeo-Christian type background person.
Srila Prabhupada would never write such a sentence. This sentence is coined by a person of a western, Judeo-Christian type background, i.e. Hayagriva himself.
This along with all other illegal alterations at once disqualify Hayagriva from the editing position.
It also disqualifies at once Jayadvaita just as well for the same reasons.
BG 18.42, version 3, states about honesty, in Sanskrit language “arjavam”:
“18.42 Peacefulness, self-control, austerity, purity, tolerance, honesty, knowledge, wisdom and religiousness—these are the natural qualities by which the brahmins work.”
Please take action.
We are not in the business of inciting violence.
I repeat again: We are not in the business of inciting violence.
We are however in the business of quoting Srila Prabhupada, the Founder of ISKCON, the BBT and BTG magazine with a relevant quote for the relevant circumstances.
In such cases of blatant dishonesty and global fraud, Srila Prabhupada had a special formula as follows:
KIck them in their faces with boot.

BHAGAVAD-GITA AS IT IS, is a fundamentally dishonest presentation on the part of the editors Hayagriva and Jayadvaita. This is the hoax of the millenium!
Because so many important elements have been wilfully removed, we could even rightfully say “embezzled”. I rephrase it again: because so many vital elements of Lord Krishna and Srila Prabhupada’s original Bhagavad-gita As It Is have been embezzled and because of the many false and illegal alterations from Srila Prabhupada’s original presentation of Bhagavad-gita As It Is, which can be found here”https://bookchanges.com/bhagavad-gita-as-it-is-manuscript/ in a little rudimentary and basic state, by editors Hayagriva and Jayadvaita, we may rightfully say that the International Society for Krishna consciousness’s (ISKCON) and the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust’s (BBT)current official version of Bhagavad-gita As It Is is a FUNDAMENTALLY DISHONEST and MISLEADING PRESENTATION TO THE WORLD, a DELIBERATE CHEATING ATTEMPT OF TRULY GLOBAL MAGNITUDE AND DIMENSIONS. (Both versions are dishonest.)
This is the hoax of the millennium!
He or she who follows a dishonest version of a great book or collaborates with such an sinister endeavour will himself or herself also become a dishonest person by association in due course of time.
And here is my latest discovery:
In Bg 18.78 these pretender editors even have the foolishness and/or temerity to push out the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself from His own book!
Srila Prabhupada writes:
BG 18.78 “Wherever there is Krishna, the master of all mystics and Supreme Personality of Godhead, and wherever there is Arjuna, the supreme archer, there will also certainly be opulence, victory, extraordinary power and morality. That is my opinion.”
Both Hayagriva and Jayadvaita write:
“Wherever there is Krishna, the master of all mystics, and wherever there is Arjuna, the supreme archer, there will also certainly be opulence, victory, extraordinary power, and morality. That is my opinion.”
They have “minused” “the Supreme Personality of Godhead”, Sri Krishna from His own book: Bhagavad-gita As It Is.
Clearly, these 2 low lives are not interested in morality. They have no morality. And above all they are NOT interested in the Supreme Personality of Godhead, SRI KRISHNA. They are simply seeking opulence, victory and extraordinary power. But how can one get one without the other?
Actually this is demoniac!
To minus Krishna from anywhere, especially from His own book Bhagavad-gita As It Is, is demoniac par excellence.
These two editors Hayagriva and Jayadvaita are simply demons .
We allow ourselves to be led by demons.
Please take action.
Please take action.

CRAZY, UNDERHAND and UNFAITHFUL JAYADVAITA CANNOT BE TRUSTED
In BG 2.26 purport, in a wise move, Hayagriva rendered faithfully Srila Prabhupad’s “incidence”, whereas the crazy, underhand and unfaithful Jayadvaita felt a need for replacing it with “incident”. He strays like a ………………..
Is this arrogance?
Is this stupidity?
Or is it just whim or indolence ?
Perhaps he is just manifesting his cheating propensity, which, as per sastra is one of the four frailties of conditioned souls?
In any case it is wrong.
“incidence” it is, because Srila Prabhupada says so!
As the Romans used to say “Magister dixit” or the master said so.
JAYADVAITA CANNOT BE TRUSTED.
JAYADVAITA IS MISLEADING US ALL.
Therefore WE REJECT HIM and his Bhagavad-gita As It Is NOT by Jayadvaita.
There are hundreds and perhaps thousands of such “incidences” throughout what passes for the current official version of Srila Prabhupada Bhagavad-gita As It Is. No need to say, appropriate action is urgently needed.
Just like BG 2.28: Srila Prabhupada writes “manifested” and the editor’s insist on “manifest”
As long as these things will go on we shall remain weak.
And to use the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu’s own words under different unfortunate circumstances indeed. But his great determination is notable:
“We shall stop our campaign when our goals are reached.”
BG 18.42, version 3, states about honesty, in Sanskrit language “arjavam”:
“18.42 Peacefulness, self-control, austerity, purity, tolerance, honesty, knowledge, wisdom and religiousness—these are the natural qualities by which the brahmins work.”

TRANSLATION
O expert and thoughtful men, relish Srimad-Bhagavatam, the mature fruit of the desire tree of Vedic literatures. It emanated from the lips of Sri Sukadeva Gosvami. Therefore this fruit has become even more tasteful, although its nectarean juice was already relishable for all, including liberated souls.
PURPORT
In the two previous slokas it has been definitely proved that the Srimad-Bhagavatam is the sublime literature which surpasses all other Vedic scriptures due to its transcendental qualities. It is transcendental to all mundane activities and mundane knowledge. In this sloka it is stated that Srimad-Bhagavatam is not only a superior literature but is the ripened fruit of all Vedic literatures. In other words, it is the cream of all Vedic knowledge. Considering all this, patient and submissive hearing is definitely essential. With great respect and attention, one should receive the message and lessons imparted by the Srimad-Bhagavatam.
The Vedas are compared to the desire tree because they contain all things knowable by man. They deal with mundane necessities as well as spiritual realization. The Vedas contain regulative principles of knowledge covering social, political, religious, economic, military, medicinal, chemical, physical and metaphysical subject matter and all that may be necessary to keep the body and soul together. Above and beyond all this are specific directions for spiritual realization. Regulated knowledge involves a gradual raising of the living entity to the spiritual platform, and the highest spiritual realization is knowledge that the Personality of Godhead is the reservoir of all spiritual tastes, or rasas.
Every living entity, beginning from Brahma, the first-born living being within the material world, down to the insignificant ant, desires to relish some sort of taste derived from sense perceptions. These sensual pleasures are technically called rasas. Such rasas are of different varieties. In the revealed scriptures the following twelve varieties of rasas are enumerated: (1) raudra (anger), (2) adbhuta (wonder), (3) srngara (conjugal love), (4) hasya (comedy), (5) vira (chivalry), (6) daya (mercy), (7) dasya (servitorship), (8) sakhya (fraternity), (9) bhayanaka (horror), (10) bibhatsa (shock), (11) santa (neutrality), (12) vatsalya (parenthood).
The sum total of all these rasas is called affection or love. Primarily, such signs of love are manifested in adoration, service, friendship, parental affection, and conjugal love. And when these five are absent, love is present indirectly in anger, wonder, comedy, chivalry, fear, shock and so on. For example, when a man is in love with a woman, the rasa is called conjugal love. But when such loving affairs are disturbed there may be wonder, anger, shock, or even horror. Sometimes loving affairs between two persons culminate in ghastly murder scenes. Such rasas are displayed between man and man and between animal and animal. There is no possibility of an exchange or rasa between a man and an animal or between a man and any other species of living being within the material world. The rasas are exchanged between members of the same species. But as far as the spirit souls are concerned, they are one qualitatively with the Supreme Lord. Therefore, the rasas were originally exchanged between the spiritual living being and the spiritual whole, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The spiritual exchange or rasa is fully exhibited in spiritual existence between living beings and the Supreme Lord.
The Supreme Personality of Godhead is therefore described in the sruti-mantras, Vedic hymns, as “the fountainhead of all rasas.” When one associates with the Supreme Lord and exchanges one’s constitutional rasa with the Lord, then the living being is actually happy.
These sruti-mantras indicate that every living being has his constitutional position, which is endowed with a particular type of rasa to be exchanged with the Personality of Godhead. In the liberated condition only, this primary rasa is experienced in full. In the material existence, the rasa is experienced in the perverted form, which is temporary. And thus the rasas of the material world are exhibited in the material form of raudra (anger) and so on.
Therefore, one who attains full knowledge of these different rasas, which are the basic principles of activities, can understand the false representations of the original rasas which are reflected in the material world. The learned scholar seeks to relish the real rasa in the spiritual form. In the beginning he desires to become one with the Supreme. Thus, less intelligent transcendentalists cannot go beyond this conception of becoming one with the spirit whole, without knowing of the different rasas.
In this sloka, it is definitely stated that spiritual rasa, which is relished even in the liberated stage, can be experienced in the literature of the Srimad-Bhagavatam due to its being the ripened fruit of all Vedic knowledge. By submissively hearing this transcendental literature, one can attain the full pleasure of his heart’s desire. But one must be very careful to hear the message from the right source. Srimad-Bhagavatam is exactly received from the right source because it was brought by Narada Muni from the spiritual world and given to his disciple Sri Vyasadeva. The latter in turn delivered the message to his son Srila Sukadeva Gosvami, and Srila Sukadeva Gosvami delivered the message to Maharaja Pariksit during the seven days before the King’s death. Srila Sukadeva Gosvami was a liberated soul from his very birth. He was liberated even in the womb of his mother, and he did not undergo any sort of spiritual training after his birth. At birth no one is qualified, neither in the mundane nor in the spiritual sense. But Sri Sukadeva Gosvami, due to his being a perfectly liberated soul, did not have to undergo an evolutionary process for spiritual realization. Yet despite his being a completely liberated person situated in the transcendental position above the three material modes, he was attracted to this transcendental rasa of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is adored by liberated souls who sing Vedic hymns. The Supreme Lord’s pastimes are more attractive to liberated souls than to mundane people. He is of necessity not impersonal because it is only possible to carry on transcendental rasa with a person.
In the Srimad-Bhagavatam the transcendental pastimes of the Lord are narrated, and the narration is systematically depicted by Srila Sukadeva Gosvami. Thus the subject matter is appealing to all classes of persons, including those who seek liberation to relish the humor of becoming one with the supreme whole.
In Sanskrit the parrot is also known as suka. When a ripened fruit is cut by the red beaks of such birds, its sweet flavor is enhanced. The Vedic fruit which is mature and ripe in knowledge is spoken through the lips of Srila Sukadeva Gosvami, who is compared to the parrot not for his ability to recite the Bhagavatam exactly as he heard it from his learned father, but for his ability to present the work in a manner that would appeal to all classes of men.
The subject matter is so presented through the lips of Srila Sukadeva Gosvami that any sincere listener who hears submissively can at once relish transcendental tastes which are distinct from the perverted tastes of the material world. The ripened fruit is not dropped all of a sudden from the highest planet of Krsnaloka. Rather, it has come down carefully through the chain of disciplic succession without change or disturbance. Foolish people who are not in the transcendental disciplic succession commit great blunders by trying to understand the highest transcendental rasa, known as the rasa dance, without following in the footsteps of Sukadeva Gosvami, who presents this fruit very carefully by stages of transcendental realization. One should be intelligent enough to know the position of Srimad-Bhagavatam by considering personalities like Sukadeva Gosvami, who deals with the subject so carefully. This process of disciplic succession of the Bhagavata school suggests that in the future also, for all time, Srimad-Bhagavatam has to be understood from a person who is factually a representative of Srila Sukadeva Gosvami. A professional man who makes a business out of reciting the Bhagavatam illegally is certainly not a representative of Sukadeva Gosvami. Such a man’s business is only to earn his livelihood. Therefore one should refrain from hearing the lectures of such professional men. Such men usually go to the most confidential part of the literature without undergoing the gradual process of understanding this grave subject. They usually plunge into the subject matter of the rasa dance, which is misunderstood by the foolish class of men. Some of them take this to be immoral, while others try to cover it up by their own stupid interpretations. They have no desire to follow in the footsteps of Srila Sukadeva Gosvami.
One should conclude, therefore, that the serious student of rasa should receive the message of the Bhagavatam in the chain of disciplic succession from Srila Sukadeva Gosvami, who describes the Bhagavatam from its very beginning and not whimsically to satisfy the mundaner who has very little knowledge in transcendental science. Srimad-Bhagavatam is so carefully presented that a sincere and serious person can at once enjoy the ripened fruit of Vedic knowledge simply by drinking the nectarean juice through the mouth of Sukadeva Gosvami or his bona fide representative.

Here is another lively rendition of Sabse Unchi Prema Sagai by the spirited and graceful Jai Kisori. What panache! This lady’s energy is extraordinarily positive!
My Indian friend tells me this is Hindi language and the meaning is “the highest relationship is of love” in relationship to Lord Krishna. In all our literature such as Bhagavad-gita As It Is, Srimad Bhagavatam and Caitanya Caritamrta “Prema” means “love of Godhead”, the highest development and evolution of human consciouness and the topmost goal of life.
The melody is so nice and sticks in the mind.
Srila Prabhupada also used to say or imply that India IS the land of Bhakti par excellence.
Kaumara means the age from five years to fifteen years. So in all schools and colleges this chanting of Hare Krsna mantra should be taught. If you actually want to advance your nationality, India, then you must take to this culture. That will glorify your country. You cannot compete the Westerners by technology. That is not possible. They are meant for that purpose. You are meant for different purpose. Your special advantage is that you were born in this land of Bharata-varsa after many, many births, after many, many pious activities.
