Australia’s official “religion” is Courtesy to one another. Others will say: Treat others as you would want to be treated yourself. That’s truly a wonderful religion and we, as members of the Hare Krishna Movement, we fully adhere to this religion as well.

And we may say that Queensland excels in this matter because up to 1990, the Queensland Police Force itself adhered to the motto “Firmness with courtesy” That is truly a wonderful logo. The current motto is “With honour we serve”. I can hear some voices of dissent in the back, but that’s ok. 🙂 May be we should consider an interstate courtesy competition, to find out which really is the most courteous state.
