- HG YOGINDRA PRABHU, the king of kirtan, along with his associates. His sweet voice is enchanting and his strength and steadiness are impressive. And who will be the emperor of kirtan? Both these titles were awarded by Srila Prabhupada to late HG Hansadutta Prabhu and late HG Madhudvisa Prabhu. Last time I met him was at former Brisbane Temple, Graceville. I and many others enjoyed very much Hansadutta Prabhu’s kirtans at the end of the Book Distribution week, Friday evenings in Schloss Rettershof, near Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in the mid seventies. That was both ecstasy and liberation.
