ISKCON and the BBT publish every year two Vyasapuja books at the time of Srila Prabhupada’s anniversary, which is usually in August or September (based on the lunar calendar). One contains offerings of different active individuals such as sannyasis, Iskcon board members also called GBCs for Governing Body Commissioner, ISKCON temples around the world and other entities. I was banned from that book some years ago. The other is called Tributes and “The Tributes book is open to all disciples of Srila Prabhupada without exception. All are welcome.” claims the Production Manager, a disciple of Jayadvaita Swami. But last year my offering to Srila Prabhupada was banned in toto, every single words of it. Let’s see whether I shall be luckier this year 2026. I personally own about fifty of such Vyasapuja books of both varieties, starting from the year 1972, even before I joined ISKCON in 1973..

Here is my 2025 Vyasapuja offering to Srila Prabhupada:

Dear Srila Prabhupada,

Please accept my humble obeisances at your divine feet. All glories to your constant, enduring, unyielding, and most effective global preaching! 

Here are some of the formulas I have created lately:

1) Srila Prabhupada, You are simply the most intelligent person. You are also the most pre-eminent and evolved Spiritual Master of the entire modern world. These are not overstatements. These may indeed be broad statements, but they are fully justified. Nor can these be qualified as sentimental statements, even though we may have strong and positive sentiments for You. 

2) Srila Prabhupada You are “The Attorney General of the Supreme Personality of Godhead!”

Your unique expertise and understanding in trust law and general law mindedness is confirmed by the mother of Ksudhi Prabhu, an American trust lawyer, who allegedly helped You establish the BBT. (https://www.dandavats.com/?p=35280. Comments by HG Shymasundara Prabhu, the lesser known of Your two Syamasundara diskha disciples.) And of course, You are presenting the law books for mankind for the next 10 000 years. So You are definitely “The Attorney General of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.”

3) Instead of simply writing “All glories to Srila Prabhupada”, we may glorify You further and write “All glories to Srila Prabhupada, the originator of ISKCON, the BBT, BTG magazine and 80 or so top-class books on self-realisation.”

This will constantly remind us of Your unparalleled achievements in the transcendental domain of self-realization. 

Your God-brother HH Akincana Das babaji confirmed this to Your disciple HH BB Govinda Maharaja as follows:” From my experience there has never been a greater Acharya than your spiritual master. There has never been an Acharya in history Who performed miracles like your spiritual master. Do you know why? Because in history there has never been a greater servant of Sri Krishna’s holy name than your spiritual master. Because your spiritual master had so much absolute understanding of Krishna’s holy name and so much absolute faith in Sri Krishna’s holy name that He personally carried Sri Krishna’s holy name through the length and breadth of the world. Therefore he is the greatest Acharya Who has ever existed.” Jai Srila Prabhupada! 

There is a special, so far unpublished, Prabhupada-story attached to the word “originator”. This is Your own personal choice of word in BGAII, OT, 10.8, purport: “All Vedic literature agree that Krishna is the originator of Brahma, Shiva and all other demigods.” Your editors, however, replaced the colourful “originator” with the dull “source” with no valid reason whatsoever. It rather represents a literary loss. I discovered this somewhat disappointing subterfuge in the second half of FEB 2025. I originally wrote:”“All glories to Srila Prabhupada, the CREATOR of ISKCON, the BBT, BTG magazine and 80 or so top-class books on self-realisation.” But now “All glories to Srila Prabhupada, the ORIGINATOR of ISKCON, the BBT, BTG magazine and 80 or so top-class books on self-realisation.” it will be!!! Thank you so very much for your literary inspiration, Srila Prabhupada! With You there is never a boring moment! There has never been. And there will never be! 4) You are also a revolutionary, and originating from France, I personally appreciate that feature of Yours, especially in respect to women, to whom you grant equal opportunity in the domain of self-realization, including Guruship, and this goes against many so-called traditional values. This seems to be evident from Your statement found in Prabhupada-lila, Chapter 2, Seattle, September-October 1968 by HH Satsvarupa Dasa Goswami:

“Prabhupada took advantage of the presence of the traveling sankirtana party in Seattle. He told Tamala Krsna he wanted to organize a world sankirtana party, with twelve men, twelve women, and himself going all over the world. But for the present, the devotees went out daily in the downtown city.”

Additionally, every morning, in everyone of Your 1200 or so ISKCON centres around the world, (1200 figure sourced from Your international Vyasapuja book 2024) including my own, ISKCON Brisbane, Australia, a Vaikuntha place with consistently excellent prasadam, and on Your order we play HG Yamuna DD’s interpretation of two verses, 5.30 and 5.32, of Brahma Samhita.

5) Based on Shri Shri Gurvashtaka, stanza 7, I am also advocating that we ought to use capital letters in pronouns, possessives and associated expressions relating to Your Divine Person, as we do for the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself. 

saksad-dharitvena samasta-shastrair

uktas tatha bhavyata eva sadbhih

kintu prabhor yah priya eva tasya

vande guroh shri-caranaravindam

The spiritual master is to be honoured as much as the Supreme Lord, because he is the most confidential servitor of the Lord. This is acknowledged in all revealed scriptures and followed by all authorities. Therefore I offer my respectful obeisances unto the lotus feet of such a spiritual master, who is a bona fide representative of Sri Hari [Krishna].

6) Srila Prabhupada, in the matter of asamordhva, You display the same qualities as Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead: You strictly have no equal in the realm of the science self-realization and no one is superior to you in the real of the science of self-realization neither. Full stop!

“The word is a combination of three elements — a, meaning “not,” sama, meaning “equal to,” and urdhva, meaning “greater than,” which combine to mean “no one is equal to or greater than [Krsna].” The Sanskrit sandhi rules say that that combination makes asamordhva.”

7) Srila Prabhupada you are Purusottama, the best among humans, and because those transcendental qualities shine through your pure representatives scattered throughout the world, people in general are touched within their hearts and reciprocate. At ISKCON New Govardhana, NSW, Australia, a neighbour just recently agreed to sell another 170 acres of land adjacent to its already existing 1000 acres, including 80 acres of fertile river flats. This truly represents Krishna’s sweet smile of approval on NG for their good Krishna conscious works under Your guidance. And while I was trying to buy a quality mattress from Max, he decided to donate a free mattress instead because 30 years ago in Cairns, Queensland, Australia, Hare Krishna Food for Life fed him while he was down and out. Now he is a successful business man owning factories in China. 

Another thing Srila Prabhupada: We were a million miles (at least I was) from realizing the great importance and consequences of our decision to join, to surrender to and accept Your Divine Grace as our Guru 50 or so years ago. As a consequence we carry now all these sometimes heavy but inevitable, whence welcome responsibilities. As You say in The Challenge Bhagavad Gita As It Is, 2.14, purport: “The two different names of address given to Arjuna are also significant. To address him as Kaunteya signifies his great blood relations from his mother’s side. And to address him as Bharata signifies his greatness from the father’s side. From both sides he is supposed to have a great heritage. Great heritage brings responsibility in the matter of proper discharge of duties and as such he cannot avoid fighting.” So ALL members of ISKCON have the greatest spiritual heritage from Your person, Srila Prabhupada, and this facts brings to ALL “responsibility in the matter of proper discharge of duties” and as such we must preach strongly on your behalf. Thank you Srila Prabhupada for stepping forward and (con) fronting Maya. 

So far I have understood one thing. It is not that the disciple has to fashion Guruvani to his own mind’s requirements. That will not get us very far at all. The disciples must bent his mind, and sometimes storm his own mind to adapt to Guruvani. To be successful in Krishna consciousness we must cling to you as close as we possibly can, whatever happens and whatever the circumstances. 

Here are four helpful dictionary meanings for “cling”:

1) hold on tightly to: she clung to Joe’s arm | we sat clinging on to one another | sucker-like discs help them to cling on | they clung together| she clung on to life for 16 days figurative.

2) Adhere or stick firmly or closely to; be hard to part or remove from: the smell of smoke clung to their clothes | the fabric clung to her smooth skin.

3) Remain very close to: the fish cling to the line of the weed.

4) Remain persistently or stubbornly faithful to: she clung resolutely to her convictions.” 

What it means:

One. This means we have to absorb ourselves in studying “scrutininzingly” Your own books- again one of your specifically chosen word i.e.“scutininzingly” – as well as books about Your activities such as HH Satsvarupa Das Goswami’s faithful biographical-Prabhupada-writings also called Prabhupada Lilamrita, which has now been re-published very exquisitely in a seven volume format by BBT India.

Two. This means we have to hear Your spoken vani in the form of Your classes as much as possible.

Three. This means also just watching and meditating on Your pictures or videos and mentally reviewing the circumstances behind it.

…..so that on the whole we may become totally and fully Prabhupadized. (Or baptized in Prabhupada) :):):)

In other words, we have to absorb ourselves as much as we can in Your “Gauravani”, as per Your second pranam mantra. The only alternative is Mayavani, whence all our difficulties. And there is no third alternative!

Finally: 

You are a perfect gentleman.

You are a truth telling gentleman.

And You are an advocate of equal gender-opportunity.

We may therefore surrender to You unreservedly.

Henceforward my slogan will be:

All glories to Srila Prabhupada, the perfect truth telling gentleman, advocating equal gender opportunity!
