First of all, the constant rain stopped and the 26 of April 2025, day after ANZAC, was a beautiful, warm, sunny day. A team of Channel 9 was present to record and report the Ratha Yatra news. Our request for mounted police was unsuccessful. Participation was good, up from previous years and the mood was friendly as HG Madhukanta Prabhu remarked. That means devotees are maturing. As His Holiness Vishvananda Swami of the Bhakti Marg Movement states: “If you dont know what is love your live is useless!”

Many dignitaries from public and private sector kindly attended and spoke well wishing words. Honourable Jess Pugh, state member for Mt Omaney, went as far as wearing a sari on the occasion in which she looked both comfortable and wonderful. Thank you Jess for the extra mile!

2025 was the tenth edition of ISKCON Brisbane, Australia, Ratha Yatra.
