BGAII 7.3 Sexism, sexism and more sexism, as well as THE APOGEE OF SEXISM in respect to the Goddess of Fortune, DISCOURTEOUSNESS and DISRESPECT for women AND just plain STUPIDITY.

In OT Srila Prabhupada gives:

“Out of many thousands among humankind, one may endeavour for perfection of life, and of thousands of perfect human beings, someone may know what Krishna is in fact.”

Both editors give exactly the same sexist rendition where Srila Prabhupada’s neutral “humankind” becomes “men” twice. The second time is it implied but not expressed.

“Out of many thousands among men, one may endeavor for perfection, and of those who have achieved perfection, hardly one knows Me in truth.”

Both dropped “perfection of life” which simply becomes the poorer “perfection” and the rest is also unacceptably reformulated at the arbitrary whims of the editors.

The same sexism is repeated in the purport.

BGAII 7.8 Srila Prabhupada tries to maintain neutrality and gives:

“O son of Kunti, I am the taste of water, the light of the sun and the moon, omkara in the Vedic mantras, I am the sound in ether and ability in humankind.”

But the editors will not have it and immediately alter to the sexist:

Hayagriva:

O son of Kunti [Arjuna], I am the taste of water, the light of the sun and the moon, the syllable om in the Vedic mantras; I am the sound in ether and ability in man.

Jayadvaita:

O son of Kunti, I am the taste of water, the light of the sun and the moon, the syllable om in the Vedic mantras; I am the sound in ether and ability in man.

We are supposed to repeat Srila Prabhupada’s words and message. We will not repeat the words of some nonsense, freewheeling speculators, even though they may officially be initiated disciples of His Divine Grace. We also refuse to imbibe their mood. We want Srila Prabhupada’s formulation and mood and be successful in the mission of our life.

BGAII 7.8 Purport again.

Srila Prabhupada’s “quench thirst” becomes “quench man’s thirst”

In BGAII 1.15, purport, we find THE APOGEE OF SEXISM. Srila Prabhupada wisely types Goddess of Fortune with capital letters but the boor editors know better and will not allow it, thus disrespecting the Goddess of Fortune, the apogee of foolishness! These things will not go unnoticed. Repeated again in BGAII 1.20, purport, and in BGAII 1.36, both verse and twice in the purport. Due to dogmatism, these boors are slighting the Goddess of Fortune and the Goddess of Fortune will surely pay them back in due course!

BGAII 1.40 Clearly shows a disrespect for women, in fact a lowering of respect from Srila Prabhupada’s standards.

In OT Srila Prabhupada gives:

Text 1.40 When irreligion is prominent in the family, O Krishna, the ladies of the family become polluted and from the degradation of womanhood, O descendant of Vrishni, there is unwanted progeny.

Hayagriva:

When irreligion is prominent in the family, O Krsna, the women of the family become corrupt, and from the degradation of womanhood, O descendant of Vrsni, comes unwanted progeny.

Jayadvaita:

When irreligion is prominent in the family, O Krsna, the women of the family become polluted, and from the degradation of womanhood, O descendant of Vrsni, comes unwanted progeny.

Here again Hayagriva’s homosexual animosity against women becomes manifest as Hayagriva replaces Srila Prabhupada’s “polluted” with the harsh adjective “corrupt”, which Jayadvaita corrects. However both of them replace Srila Prabhupada more respectful term “ladies” with the more common “women.” So a lowering of respect for women occurs here.

Such poorly behaved sannyasis definitely need to learn from Srila Prabhupada, Who is also the topmost paramahamsa sannyasi, how to treat women with proper respect and stop giving a bad name to His institution, ISKCON

BGAII 7.17 purport

“the one who is in full knowledge” becomes “the man who is in full knowledge”

BGAII 7.21 purport

OT’s “That will make them happy” becomes “That will make man happy” by Hayagriva

BGAII 9.3 PURPORT

Srila Prabhupada in OT:

There are three divisions of such Krishna conscious persons. The first class Krishna conscious person, the second class Krishna conscious person and the third class Krishna conscious person.

Hayagriva and Jayadvaita:

There are three divisions of Krsna conscious men.

The second sentence jut disappears.
