Srila Prabhupada:

These are some of the opulences of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. And when one is firmly convinced about such instructions he accepts such instructions with great faith and without any doubt and he certainly becomes engaged in devotional service. All this particular knowledge is required for increasing one’s interest in the loving devotional service of the Lord. Therefore in the …???..it is said: One should not be lazy to understand fully how great Krishna is, for by knowing the greatness of Krishna one will be able to be fixed in sincere devotional service of the Lord. “

Hayagriva:

Besides the obvious cover up of Srila Prabhupada sentence “One should not be lazy to understand fully how great Krishna is“, we find again reluctance by the editors, especially Hayagriva and others too, to use the Srila Prabhupada’s especially coined expression “the Supreme Personality of Godhead.” “The Supreme Personality of Godhead” is one of Srila Prabhupada’s “fer de lance” or spearhead mantras and must be left untouched to achieve maximum efficiency in His assault on the forces of Maya.

Can we please have Srila Prabhupada As He Is? And can the shameless rascal class please refrain from fuzzing up His real character and personality with false, bad taste and clearly offensive make up? Offences to the pure-devotee-Krishna-representative is serious matter and very hard to be forgiven. Krishna Himself will NOT forgive. That is specifically why Karna had to die on the battlefield of Kurukshetra in miserable and unfair circumstances due to his unfair offences to Srimatee Draupadi in the unholy assembly of non-gentlemen, when there occurred an attempt to disrobe her in public.

Even during Srila Prabhupada’s physical presence, He sometimes complained about being misquoted.

PRABHUPADA SAID “I never said there should be no more marriage. By all means legally you can get married. How can I object? They misunderstand me. Unless it is there from me in writing, there are so many things that “Prabhupada said.”

         I have no objection to marriage, but to bless it by a fire sacrifice, that I am thinking that if they don’t stay together, then it is not good. But if they can remain together for one year, then there can be fire sacrifice. But changing three times in a month husband and wife, that is not good.” 750902let.OmkaraDasi 

For those who like to change partners, please note that here Srila Prabhupada more or less gives blessings for ONE YEAR marriages. :):):) But one should also keep in mind that Srila Prabhupada writes

“For example, sex enjoyment is a necessity for the conditioned soul and sex enjoyment is allowed under the license of marriage ties. One is resticted to have sex relationship with any other women than his wife. All other women are considered as mother. But inspite of such injunction of the revealed scriptures, men are inclined to have a sex relationship with other women besides one’s own wife. These propensities are to be curbed down, otherwise they will be stumbling blocks on the path of self-realization. So long the material body is there, the necessities of the material body must be allowed under rules and regulations. And yet we should not fall under the control of such allowances. One has to follow these rules and regulations, not being attached to them, because practice of sense gratification under regulations may also lead one to go astray- as much as there is always the chance of an accident, even on the royal roads,” The Challenge Bhagavad Gita As It Is 3.34, purport.

Good taste opposes bad taste, just like the sun automatically dissipates darkness.

The following kirtan by Sri Prahlada Prabhu, as well as the whole event “Sadhu Sanga May 23-26 in Orlando, Florida, USA, represents an example of SUPER EXCELLENT, FIRST CLASS TASTE. Let us follow this example and possibly participate. It’s not an easy decision because from Australia first one has to cross the Pacific and then cross USA from west to east coast. Further down in purport 10.8 we have again a perfect example how these rascals and unqualified nonsense editors show their expertise in impoverishing Srila Prabhupada Bhagavad Gita As It Is message. And why are they doing this? Is it envy of the pure devotee? What is it? There is absolutely no rational linguistic reason for the change. This sentence is perfect Srila-Prabhupada-expression.

Srila Prabhupada writes:

“All Vedic literature agrees that Krishna is the originator of Brahma, Shiva and all other demigods.”

Foolish Rascal number one Hayagriva initiates the change and gives instead:

“All Vedic literature agrees that Krishna is the source of Brahma, Shiva and all other demigods.”

And foolish rascal number two Jayadavaita follows suit and rubber stamps the nonsense instead of reversing it, as it ought to be done:

“All Vedic literature agrees that Krishna is the source of Brahma, Shiva and all other demigods.”

The dictionary gives:

originator | əˈrɪdʒɪneɪtə | noun a person who creates or initiates something: Wegener was the originator of the theory of continental drift.

So there is absolutely nothing wrong with the word “originator”! On the contrary anyone with even a slight literary sense will agree that “originator” has got more panache and is more colourful than the flat “source”, not just under the circumstances but generally speaking.

So why the change and impoverishment??? Is it envy? What is it? Is it sheer foolishness?

The real point is that the whole Bhagavad Gita As It Is needs to be restored to its original form- the PRABHUPADA FORM. So there is here a huge, meticulous and sometimes close to impossible work of restoration that is required, a bit like when you find old manuscripts in catacombs. Hare Krishna!!!

AND ITS ABOUT TIME THAT ISKCON AND THE BBT WAKE UP TO THIS REALITY INSTEAD OF REMAINING IN DENIAL. THE LONGER THEY WAIT THE MORE BRUTAL THE CHANGE MAY BECOME BECAUSE THERE IS HERE AN ELEMENT OF GLOBAL MISLEADING AND CHEATING.
