The somewhat lacking state of ISKCON’S HEALTH.

ISKCON is out of balance and needs a strong jerk to adjust its spine. It needs physiotherapy. We all need it from time to time. I visited the physiotherapist yesterday and have another appointment in two weeks. The dis-ease felt throughout the devotee community or part of the devotee community has all got to do with ISKCON’s stray interpretation of Srila Prabhupada’s and Sri Krishna’s glorious Bhagavad Gita As It Is.

For the moment we only have, on the one side, Bhagavad Gita As Is NOT by Hayagriva

and

On the other side, ISKCON’s official version, Bhagavad Gita As It Is NOT by Jayadvaita.

For the last 50 years, we have been waiting and are still waiting, for Srila Prabhupada’s glorious Bhagavad Gita As It Is.

Even though I am not a corporation health expert, still I can see that much.

So if someone ask or wonders why I do not participate in the official Janmashtami and Vyasapuja ceremonies, I have just given my answers above.

However, I am neither discourteous to the Supreme Personality of Godhead nor I am discourteous to my beloved Spiritual Master, Srila Prabhupada. I am in fact, and for the future “did in fact” participate in these blissful events. I just do it in my own way and from a distance. In the old ISKCON days there was a saying, something like “Spiritual life and devotional service are like walking on a razor’s edge and all it takes is a little inattention and there can be blood.” This is certainly still valid today and therefore care and caution is required at all times and for everyone.

Taking advantage of the Queensland Government extraordinarily glorious and generous 50 cents train rides, even up to the Sunshine Coast or down to the Gold Coast, I will be going on book distribution today in Brisbane City, as well as distribute the last leaflets for ISKCON Brisbane Janmashtami celebrations. I shall be meeting the beautiful people of Brisbane on a beautiful day. What a wonderful city Brisbane is! And what gentle and considerate people they are!  I have no choice for this course of action, as after this glorious 27th day of August 20242, the leaflets will become obsolete and therefore useless. Better distribute them. As per Srila Prabhupada own slogan “Utility is the principle.”

And tomorrow for Srila Prabhuapada pleasure, I shall release on this website what is my proposed new version 3 of Bhagavad Gita As It Is, chapter 2.

I may wish everyone a blissful, stimulating and inspiring Janmashtami day 2024 and Prabhupada Vyasapuja day 2024.

Hare Krishna.

In eternal service to Srila Prabhupada,

Yadavendra Das (acbsp)
